The Deadlands
November 1, 2021 - PC/Mac/Stadia, Consoles - Patch Notes - Deadlands DLC Overview Page
With this Update, the Gates of Oblivion story arc reaches its climactic finale. It brings us two new zones, one which is the Deadlands itself, and one which is the city of Fargrave, a realm that is unimportant to the Daedric princes, but quite important to any Daedra.
The base game got the new Armory system. It allows you to save character builds and switch easily between builds. Also, there has been curated item set drops added to help you complete your item set collections. There's also new Mythic items and NVIDIA DLSS & DLAA Support.
There's also a number of changes affecting combat and itemization including some adjustments to proc sets and critical hit damage, plus allowing sets to now grant hybrid stats.
New Features & Updates
Deadlands DLC
- New Zone: The Deadlands. It's suitable for characters of all levels. Players would start in Fargrave, a neutral city for both mortals and immortals
- New Item Sets, Collectibles, Outfit Styles & Dyes, Achievements & Titles, Motifs and Furnishings
Base Game
- The Armory System was a new system that helped relieve the friction between switching or experimenting with a character's build. The Armory allows to save any of a character's custom builds, remembers their gear, Attributes, Abilities, Champion Points and even if players are a Werewolf or Vampire. Loading these builds was only a matter of seconds.
- Curated Item Set Drops would now preferentially drop set items which a player hadn't unlocked yet in their Item Set Collections
- The Item Set Collection Summary would add a Summary Page to the Item Set collections UI.
New Mythic Items
- Map Updates will now show active Dark Anchors and Skyshards that will appear on the in-game map
- Combat Music Options adds a dropdown in the Settings menu under Audio
New PvP Emote
- NVIDIA DLSS & DLAA Support
- Multithreaded Rendering Update was enabled by default
