The Gold Coast Bazaar is a new in-game storefront arriving with Update 49 on March 25, 2026. It gives players a way to earn legacy collectibles and limited-time rewards through normal gameplay, removing the FOMO-driven structure that made older reward systems frustrating. All items are purchased with Trade Bars, a currency earned in-game that cannot be bought with Crowns.

What is the Gold Coast Bazaar?

The Gold Coast Bazaar in ESO is a dedicated collectible store inside the Crown Store interface. Unlike the standard Crown Store, nothing here costs Crowns. Every item is purchased with Trade Bars, a currency earned purely through gameplay.

What the Bazaar is designed to fix:

  • Rare collectibles disappeared after limited-time events with no predictable return window
  • External promotions like Twitch Drops and Prime Gaming excluded players who couldn't participate
  • Daily Login and Golden Pursuit rewards had no second-chance system
  • Event Ticket caps meant players lost progress if they couldn't spend in time

Item types you can acquire from the Bazaar:

  • Past Golden Pursuit Spotlights.
  • Old Daily Login rewards.
  • External promotions (Twitch Drops, Amazon Prime).
  • Previous ESO Plus free monthly items.

Trade Bars Explained

Trade Bars are the only currency accepted at the Gold Coast Bazaar. They fully replace Event Tickets and are designed around rewarding active play rather than real-money spending.

How to Earn Trade Bars

You can earn Trade Bars through three primary methods:

  • Tamriel TomesThe primary source. The free track in Season Zero offers up to 9,000 Trade Bars. Paid versions add another 1,500.
  • In-Game Events and Activities:  Seasonal events award Trade Bars. The 2026 Jubilee Cake grants 300 Trade Bars instead of the previous 3 Event Tickets.
  • PvP Veterancy and Progression: Trade Bars are earned through the new PvP Veterancy and Progression Track

Gold Coast Bazaar Seasonal Rewards

These rotate with each three-month season. ZeniMax has confirmed that seasonal items may return in future rotations, reducing the pressure to buy everything in a single season.
