The Gold Coast Bazaar is a new in-game storefront arriving with Update 49 on March 25, 2026. It gives players a way to earn legacy collectibles and limited-time rewards through normal gameplay, removing the FOMO-driven structure that made older reward systems frustrating. All items are purchased with Trade Bars, a currency earned in-game that cannot be bought with Crowns.

What is the Gold Coast Bazaar?

The Gold Coast Bazaar is a dedicated seasonal collectible store inside the Crown Store interface. Unlike the standard Crown Store, nothing here is purchased with Crowns. Every item is bought using Trade Bars, earned purely through gameplay.

What the Bazaar was designed to fix:

  • Rare collectibles disappeared after limited-time events with no predictable return window
  • External promotions like Twitch Drops and Prime Gaming excluded players who couldn't participate
  • Daily Login and Golden Pursuit rewards had no second-chance system
  • Event Ticket caps meant players lost progress if they couldn't spend in time

Item types you can acquire from the Bazaar:

  • Past Golden Pursuit Spotlights.
  • Old Daily Login rewards.
  • External promotions (Twitch Drops, Amazon Prime).
  • Previous ESO Plus free monthly items.

Trade Bars Explained

Trade Bars are the only currency accepted at the Gold Coast Bazaar. They fully replace Event Tickets and are designed around rewarding active play rather than real-money spending.

ESO Plus Benefits

If you are an ESO Plus member, the Bazaar offers exclusive perks:

  • Monthly Freebies: Previous "ESO Plus Monthly Rewards" that you may have missed will be added to the Bazaar.
  • Requirement: While these items are visible to everyone, you must have an active ESO Plus subscription to purchase them with Trade Bars.

Why ZeniMax Introduced the Gold Coast Bazaar

The previous system had several structural problems:

  • Time-limited events created hard cutoffs with no catch-up option
  • External promotions (Twitch Drops, Prime Gaming) were inaccessible to many players
  • Rare collectibles could go years without reappearing
  • Event Ticket caps forced players to spend immediately or lose currency

The Bazaar addresses all of these directly:

  • Seasonal structure means legacy items return on a predictable schedule
  • Trade Bars have no cap, so you can save without losing progress
  • ZeniMax can respond faster to player requests for returning items
  • Players choose what they earn rather than chasing RNG-gated event rewards

The result is less FOMO, more player agency and a cleaner long-term reward structure for both new and returning players.
