Seasonal vs Evergreen Rewards Explained

  • Seasonal Rewards (Rotating): These items are tied to the current 3-month season. They rotate out to keep the shop fresh, though ZOS has stated they may return in future rotations to reduce FOMO.
  • Gold Coast Wares (Evergreen): These items remain available across multiple seasons allowing you to save up for them at your own pace.

ESO Plus Benefits in the Bazaar

If you are an ESO Plus member, the Bazaar offers exclusive perks:

  • Monthly Freebies: Previous "ESO Plus Monthly Rewards" that you may have missed will be added to the Bazaar.
  • Requirement: While these items are visible to everyone, you must have an active ESO Plus subscription to purchase them with Trade Bars.

Why ZeniMax Introduced the Gold Coast Bazaar

Previously, rare collectibles could disappear for years with no clear return schedule. This created heavy reliance on FOMO-driven promotions and unpredictable rotations.

With the seasonal model, the Bazaar allows ZeniMax to:

  • Reintroduce legacy rewards on a predictable schedule
  • Respond faster to player requests for returning items
  • Reduce dependence on limited-time exclusivity

In short, it gives players more control and better transparency over how and when they can earn rare collectibles.
