When does the Gold Coast Bazaar launch?
- 25 March 2026: Initial launch of the Gold Coast Bazaar with a limited inventory
- 2 April 2026: Full rollout begins with Season Zero, introducing roughly 100 collectibles
What are Trade Bars?
Trade Bars are the exclusive currency used to purchase items from the Gold Coast Bazaar. They cannot be bought with Crowns and must be earned through gameplay.
How do you earn Trade Bars in ESO?
- Tamriel Tomes: The primary source. The free track in Season Zero offers up to 9,000 Trade Bars. Paid versions add another 1,500.
- In-Game Events and Activities: Seasonal events award Trade Bars. The Jubilee Cake grants 300 Trade Bars instead of the previous 3 Event Tickets.
- PvP Veterancy and Progression: Trade Bars are earned through the new PvP Veterancy and Progression Track
Can you buy Trade Bars with Crowns?
No. Trade Bars cannot be purchased with Crowns. All Trade Bars must be earned through the Tamriel Tome progression system and in-game activities.
What happens to Event Tickets?
- Event Tickets are fully retired with Update 49
- All existing tickets are automatically converted on March 9, 2026
- Conversion rate: 1 Event Ticket = 100 Trade Bars
Is there a Trade Bar cap?
No. Unlike Event Tickets, Trade Bars have no holding cap, allowing you to save currency indefinitely.
What items are available in the Gold Coast Bazaar?
The Bazaar’s inventory is divided into
three categories:
- Gold Coast Wares (Evergreen): Permanent items that never leave the shop including:
- Grand Gallery of Tamriel (player home)
- Dibella’s Exaltation armor style
- Gold Road Recall customised action
- Seasonal Rewards (Rotating): Items that cycle in and out with each three-month season.
- New Rewards: Fresh collectibles tied to current season events and activities.
How do seasonal rotations work?
- Inventory rotates at the start of each new season (roughly every three months)
- ZeniMax aims for a balanced mix of item types per rotation
- Rotations may also respond to player demand for specific returning collectibles
How does the Gold Coast Bazaar affect ESO Plus members?
- Previous ESO Plus monthly free rewards will be added to the Bazaar over time
- These legacy items can be purchased with Trade Bars once available
- An active ESO Plus subscription is required to buy them
Do you need ESO Plus to use the Gold Coast Bazaar?
No. The Bazaar is fully accessible to all players. ESO Plus is only required to purchase the legacy ESO Plus monthly reward category specifically.
