What are Trade Bars?
Trade Bars are the exclusive currency used to purchase items from the Gold Coast Bazaar.
How do you earn Trade Bars in ESO?
Trade Bars are earned only through gameplay, not direct purchase. Available methods include:
Can you buy Trade Bars with Crowns?
No. Trade Bars cannot be purchased with Crowns. All Trade Bars must be earned through the Tamriel Tome progression system and in-game activities.
What happens to Event Tickets?
With Update 49 (9 March 2026):
  • Event Tickets are fully retired
  • All existing Event Tickets are automatically converted
  • Conversion rate: 1 Event Ticket = 100 Trade Bars
Is there a Trade Bar cap?
No. Unlike Event Tickets, Trade Bars have no holding cap, allowing you to save currency indefinitely.
What items are available in the Gold Coast Bazaar?
The Bazaar’s inventory is divided into three rotating categories:
  • Evergreen Rewards: Permanent items that never leave the shop including:
    • Grand Gallery of Tamriel (player home)
    • Dibella’s Exaltation armor style
    • Gold Road Recall customised action
  • Rotating Rewards: Seasonally available items that cycle in and out.
  • New Seasonal Rewards: Brand-new collectibles tied to events.
How do seasonal rotations work?
  • Inventory rotations occur at the start and end of each Season
  • Developers aim for a balanced mix of item types
  • Rotations may also respond to player demand for specific returning collectibles
How does the Gold Coast Bazaar affect ESO Plus members?
  • Previous ESO Plus monthly free rewards (legacy items) will be added to the Bazaar over time
  • These items can be purchased using Trade Bars once available
Do you need ESO Plus to use the Gold Coast Bazaar?
  • No membership is required to access the Bazaar
  • An active ESO Plus subscription is required only to purchase legacy ESO Plus monthly rewards
