ESO Season 0 - 2026 Starts out with the true first Season Zero called "Dusk and Dawn".

In ESO Season Zero: Dawn and Dusk, all new gameplay content is now free for base game owners. This update introduces the Tamriel Tomes progression system, the Gold Coast Bazaar for returning collectibles, new overland difficulty settings and much more.

ESO 2026: Season Zero: Dawn and Dusk Schedule

The initial Season Zero content will roll out across several dates:

March 9 Update 49 Launches on all platforms simultaneously: Dragonknight & 2H skill line refresh. Orsinium, the Thieves Guild, Dark Brotherhood and Imperial City DLCs added to base game. Includes various quality-of-life changes.  
March 25 Gold Coast Bazaar (the new storefront) Launches and converts all Event Tickets to Trade Bars.
April 2 Season Zero: Dawn and Dusk Officially Launches!
April 2 Tamriel Tomes (Battle Pass) becomes available
April 2 Gold Coast Bazaar Expands
April 29 The Experimental Night Market Event Zone Opens
June 17 Night Market Event Zone closes.

Late Season Zero (May/June) First step of the Overland Difficulty system is introduced  
  1. Classes & Combat: Comprehensive visual refresh and balance updates for the Dragonknight Class.

  5. PVP Progression System: A complete modernization of how players advance and earn rewards within Alliance War and Battlegrounds.
  6. New Overland Difficulty: Challenge Difficulty: A highly requested feature allowing players to increase the difficulty of world content for a more dangerous experience.
  7. Player Experience Improvements: Account-wide outfit slots. Free skill and attribute respecs directly within the UI. Back bar XP gains and more!
  8. Base Game Additions: Orsinium, Thieves Guild, Dark Brotherhood and Imperial City are now permanently included with the base game for all players.
