October 21, 2019 - PC/Mac, Consoles - Patch Notes

Dragonhold concluded the "Season of the Dragon" with introducing a new zone, Southern Elsweyr, as a big new quest hub, with also adding two world bosses, two delves, and a new Dragon Hunt area. Also a lot of new collectibles, item sets, achievements and titles were added.

The base game got an updated Activity Finder for dungeons and Battlegrounds, focusing heavily on the first part of the performance improvements for ESO with an overhaul of how memory is managed. Along with updating 3-piece item sets, there were made several improvements to Wardens, Sorcerers and Dragonknights in the realm of identity, adjusting some values of Damage over Time abilities and more.

New Zone Southern Elsweyr, with tons of new quests, delves and world bosses
Season of the Dragon finale and the foreshadowing of what might come
Rebuilding the Dragonguard Sanctum for exciting new quests and rewards
Frost & Storm Dragons to make the dragon hunt even harder
New Item Sets, Achievements, Titles & Collectibles, Collectible Styles & Costume, and New Motifs
Final Wing of the Hall of the Lunar Champion which could be acquired for free for players playing through the storyline

Base Game

Updated Activity Finder, timer made 2 minutes long when leaving a completed instance to allow for more time for quest turn ins and exploring. Later the ability to leave the dungeon via hotkey was added
Memory Management Overhaul, a new memory pooling system was implemented to reduce memory fragmentation
Battleground Runner Weapon Outfit Styles, could only be found by completing Flag Games
3-Piece Item Set Updates saw a big overhaul of older and newer 3-piece set items
Alliance War Campaign Updates
In-Game Account Features, such as opting-in or opting-out of marketing mailers from the character select screen, ESO Reward Codes which could be redeemed ingame via the Crown Store menu, and the ability to change the email address associated with your game account, or resend the verification email, straight from the character select screen
