FAQ
Is ESO Update 49 the same as Season Zero?
No. Update 49 is the base game patch launching March 9. Season Zero is the seasonal content layer starting April 2.
Is my ESO Dragonknight build broken after Update 49?
Possibly. The rework is significant. Several abilities moved between skill lines, damage types changed and numbers were rebalanced. The good news: respecs are free and the Skill Line XP Boost runs March 9-25.
Is ESO Season Zero less content than a Chapter?
Different, not less. Season Zero focuses on systems, progression and QoL. Season 1 adds the trial, questlines and new content systems. Across both seasons the total output is comparable to a Chapter, delivered on a different schedule.
