High Seas of Tamriel is an event taking place on the waters surrounding the continent.
Introductory Quest
You can begin the event by picking up the starter quest from the Crown Store, or picking it up in person on a small island just west of Anvil in the Gold Coast. There you can find a ghost NPC named Baron-Captain Olsien Guy Mard. The quest is called “Raising the Riotous Redress”. The starter quest will reward you with a golden event box, as well as the
Ostentatious Pirate Wig and Hat collectible.
Daily Quests
Once you have completed the starter quest, you can pick up the daily quests in the same area as the starter quest, in the Gold Coast.
During the first part of the daily quest you will be on deck. You will have to do three things. There will be an enemy ship that is either on the left or right side of yours (it will change over time), and you have to fire the catapults on your ship at the enemy ship. Enemy pirates will also spawn on deck, you have to kill those. Lastly, there will be hull breaches on your deck when the enemy ship lands a hit. You have to repair those. To repair them, simply go to the breach and press E. Your character will then start repairing until the breach is gone. Getting hit by enemy pirates or catapults does not interrupt the repairing, so be careful.
Once you have completed the battle on deck, make sure to look down in the water. There will be rewards waiting for you that you can haul on deck.
When the deck battle is completed, and you have looted the rewards, you can enter the diving bell on the ship. This will transport you to the bottom of the ocean.
Once at the bottom of the ocean you will be in a bubble. This bubble keeps you alive. The bubble can be popped by enemies or by walking over vents that have been opened.
If the bubble is popped, seek out a clam to get a new bubble. However, enemies can also pick up bubbles, and it will drastically reduce the damage they take. To remove an enemy bubble find a covered vent, uncover it, and drag an enemy through the resulting red circle.
You can explore the seafloor as you like. There will be enemies, bosses, points of interest and chests you can loot (the chest contain event themed items, so definitely worth looting). Once you find yourself having enough of the ocean, just follow the quest marker. At the end of the quest you will have to kill a boss. This boss again drops a lot of event themed loot. Once defeated you can return to the diving bell to go back to the surface. You will now return to the Gold Coast and you can complete the daily quest.
Do note that you can do this quest once per day per character, so it’s not infinitely repeatable.
