High Seas of Tamriel is a new in-game event coming to The Elder Scrolls Online in Season One. It brings naval combat, undersea exploration and oceanic encounters to ESO for the first time.

What Is High Seas of Tamriel in ESO?
High Seas of Tamriel is a new ocean-based event. Ship battles, underwater locations, combat on the ocean floor and deep sea fishing. ESO already has a fishing system, though it's unclear how deep sea fishing will relate to or expand on what exists.
ZOS presented this alongside the Night Market as part of their experimental content lineup. Both are new event formats that don't follow the traditional ESO event structure.
How ESO High Seas of Tamriel Works
Based on the Seasons Direct stream:
- Naval combat.
- Undersea exploration. Underwater locations and combat sequences on the ocean floor.
- Deep sea fishing. A new fishing activity tied to the event.
- Solo and group play.
- Free for all players.
