Explore High Isle in ESO

The 2022 chapter is called "High Isle" and will take place on never before explored islands which are located north-west of Summerset. The island group is called "the Systres archipellago", with the High Isle being their crown jewel.

The ESO High Isle zone will be a Breton dominated area which will focus heavily on their lore and politics. Bretons have always been in the background of the Elder Scrolls Online. So it is great to finally see them get some well deserved attention. The particular culture on these islands will reflect a feudal society reminiscent of society in the late middle-ages of Europe. The architecture and zone design is heavily inspired by older mediterranean cities and locales, bright, white with beautiful shores.

The story will focus on secret peace negotiations for the 3-Banners-War between the three alliances. There are two new factions introduced. One of them wants Tamriel to return to peace, and one of them wants to sabotage the peace talks. The peaceful faction is called the "Society of the Steadfast". The evil faction is called the "Ascendant Order" which is lead by the mysterious "Ascendant Lord".

The zone will feature the usual points of interest, world bosses, delves, quest hubs and world events. Next to that there will also be a new 12-player trial called Dread Sail Reef. There will be a new world event called "Volcanic Vents", they will be roughly similar to the Geysers found in Summerset.

Furthermore two prominent ESO characters will see a return this year. They will be Jakarn from Stros M'Kai and Za'ji from Southern Elsweyr.

The Elder Scrolls Online: High Isle will release on June 6th 2022 for PC, and two weeks later for consoles.

Tales of Tribute ESO Card Game

A new way to unwind in ESO - grab a tankard of mead and bring your best decks to match of the brand-new strategy card game,Tales of Tribute. Compete with friends or test your mettle against NPCs in this deck building game invented on High Isle.

It will be an ingame card game that can be played against NPCs as well as other players. It is a two-player game involving cards and decks that you can find while exploring Tamriel. Many things remain a mystery about this game, but here is a list of what we know:

  • Tales of Tribute is a two player game
  • It has a tutorial, completing it will give you four starting decks
  • New and veteran players can play against each other without new players being at a disadvantage, as both decks are shuffled together at the start (meaning you will get a mix of your own cards and your opponent's cards)
  • There will be a storyline around the Tales of Tribute
  • The game is a resource-building/race type of game, it is not a combat based game
  • There will be rewards associated with it like furniture, collectibles, crafting materials, etc.

Legacy of the Bretons Year Long Adventure in ESO

Set out on ESO's year long adventure, the Legacy of Bretons, and uncover an epic storytelling experience told across three DLCs and the ESO High Isle Chapter. A tale of Chivalric honor and political upheaval set within the stunning Systres Archipelago awaits.
