Lost Depths DLC, New Dungeons Coming to ESO
Lost Depths will be the latest addition to the Legacy of the Bretons storyline which is the focus for new Elder Scrolls Online story content this year. It will contain two new dungeons. The first dungeon will be Earthen Root Enclave.
A spiritual sanctuary for all druids of the Systres Archipelago, Earthen Root Enclave has been attacked by the fierce Firesong circle, and Druid Laurel of the Stonelore needs allies to repulse the invaders and protect the sacred shrine's many relics. But why have the fractious Firesong attacked now? And what will be the consequences of this trespass for the people of High Isle?
The second dungeon will be called Graven Deep.
High Isle's sailors whisper anxious warnings about Graven Deep, a strange region of the Abecean Sea where any ship that enters vanishes without a trace. Team up with a former pirate, Dhulef, as he braves this mysterious and dangerous region and hunts for information on the legendary Druid King's voyage to the Systres. What ancient secrets will you discover buried far beneath the waves?
When Can We Expect More Information about the DLC?
The Lost Depths DLC and its accompanying base game update will be coming to the PTS (Public Test Server) on Monday 11th of July. We can expect patch notes to be available shortly before the PTS becomes available for download.Zenimax has already hinted at a few minor details though. We can expect the new dungeons to have accompanying achievements, item sets, dyes and collectibles, as per the usual with this type of DLC. There will also be some new furnishing items available for the housing enthusiasts of ESO.
With regards to the base game, there have been some mostly PvP focused changes announced for Update 35 in a recent tweet. These are not very specific at the moment, but we can expect to see an increase to XP gains in PvP areas, three new PvP item sets, featured battleground modes with bonus AP, as well as new base game furnishings and master writs, a Prologue quest for unannounced Update 36 DLC, and finally some changes to combat (we will presumably have to wait for the PTS patch notes to find out what these will be exactly.
As soon as the PTS is available, we will be busy updating ESO Hub with information about the new Lost Depths DLC and update, including the new item sets and collectibles, so make sure to keep an eye out for those if you are interested.
