Oaken Staff:
1 - Keep Inspired Scholarship up (it makes your weapons glow so hard to miss, also lasts for ages)
2 - Place the Rune on Olms, Felms and Llothis (not needed on protectors)
3 - Use Crushing Shock only when Llothis needs interrupting (you have the pretty timer, right?)
4 - Drop your ulti when you have it
5 - Generate crux with Chakram until you have 3 crux
6 - Use the beam when you have 3 crux only! Never before that!
7 - repeat
Oaken Bow:

1 - Keep Cruxweaver Armor up!

4 - Keep Venom Arrow up on Olms, Felms and Llothis
5 - Use Venom Arrow when Llothis needs interrupting (you have the pretty timer, right?)
6 - Drop your ulti when you have it
7 - Use Chakram if you need a shield (aka during jumps and kite)
8 - Place Endless Hail on Olms (optional, can skip until you are more comfortable)
9 - Generate crux with Flail until you have 3 crux (if you need crux but have no stam use Chakram to generate crux)
10 - Use the beam when you have 3 crux only! Never before that!
11 - repeat
If you're not Cham:
Use Trap Beast (any morph) instead of the Cruxweaver Armor!
Technically you can use vMA Inferno Staff instead of Bow, then use Crushing Shock and Elemental Blockade instead of the bow skills.
You can choose either morph of the beam:
- If you choose the shield morph then that skill will be buffed by simply having the Chakram on frontbar
- If you choose the longer morph then place Trap on front bar and place Chakram on backbar
