- Optimization Note: This build relies on the Lightning Staff for its "Instant-On" damage feedback (no wind-up wait time). We use the Oakensoul Ring to automate all buffs, leaving your display clean of timer tracking. Use your Crux-tracking addon to fire your beam (Fatecarver) only at 3 Crux for maximum burst.
- Primary Companion Designation: Zerith-var
- Role: The Necro-Tank (Grouping Specialist)
- The Synergy: Zerith-var uses Sepulchral Grip (a leash) to pull distant enemies directly to his position. This creates a tight "death ball" of enemies, allowing your Fatecarver beam to hit every single mob at once.
- Hardware: Heavy Armor, Sword & Shield.
- Skill Loadout:
- Provoke (1H & Shield): Standard taunt.
- Sepulchral Grip (Zerith Skill): The Pull. Drags enemies into your beam's path.
- Sepulchral Chill (Zerith Skill): The Snare. Slows enemies so they can't walk out of your beam.
- Ritual of Salvation (Fighters Guild): Damage reduction for both of you.
- Crescent Scythe (Zerith Skill): Self-healing to keep him alive.
- Blade of the Crossing (Companion Ultimate): The Ultimate. He swings a massive blade of lunar light. More importantly, it applies Minor Magickasteal to every enemy it hits, feeding you endless Magicka while you hold your heavy attack.
