 ⚔️ The Everything Build – Nightblade Versatility Guide

Doesn’t have the absolute top DPS — but it is the top versatility.
One setup for PvP ganks, solo content, Infinite Archive, and even 78k single-target parses. No more swapping builds in the armory. (Wizard's wardrobe plugin required to quickly switch equip and skills)

🔥 PvP Combo – Expect Quadra Kills

The main idea in PvP is to stay uncatchable and one-shot enemies with a clean combo:

1. Charge Heavy Attack → procs your Monster Set. Throw that axe, they will hate you.
2. Cancel animation with Chilling Soul → procs Winterborn, shreds armor, applies strong DoT.
3. Light Attack
4. Aurora Javelin → stuns enemy
5. Light Attack

Finish Options:

• Slip back into Shadow Disguise, or
• Fire off a couple Merciless Resolves then vanish, or
• Drop Toxic Barrage to obliterate your enemy.

⚠️ Important: You’re squishy. Dodge, hide, stay mobile.

Get Vampire Stage 2 → run speed while hidden + weapon damage bonus leaving sneak.

If harassed by another NB: Essence of Immovability Potions reveal them.

Need 30k HP?

• Equip Warrior-Poet (Neck, Ring, Shoulders, Bow) + Valkyn Skoria Mask (for penetration), or
• Swap to two-bar setup to maintain Monster Set, then add 2x Rallying Cry (or Warrior-Poet) jewelry + Greatsword.

The two-bar set up runs the following abilities on the back-bar:

• Resolving Vigor (heal + defense buff)
• Concealed Weapon (15% move speed)
• Revealing Flare (10% damage reduction)
• Sun Shield (absorb + close AoE)
• Forward Momentum (+20% weapon & spell damage)

🗡 Solo Content Setup

This build is centered on Puncturing Strikes, which not only deals huge damage but also provides constant healing. The Deadly Set amplifies its damage, while the Prayer Shawl Set gives you a fresh 5.5k shield every 2 seconds (with CP). The result: a versatile Nightblade that’s hard to kill, shreds enemies and still parses 65k single-target DPS.

Straightforward adjustments for Infinite Archive & solo challenges against Difficult Encounters (e.g., Marauders):

• Swap Elemental Blockade → Structured Entropy (adds strong DoT + healing)
• Swap Barbed Trap → Resolving Vigor (to constantly trigger Prayer Set)

⚖️ Set Testing: War Maiden vs. Prayer Shawl → results are nearly identical.
If you know a better self-buff/damage set, drop a recommendation. I advice you to get the Prayer Shawl set because thanks to the 

💥 78K Parse 

Work in progress. Looking for builds that allow high dps without having to swap too many things around

•  Current: 78k DPS on a single-target trial dummy DPS, 44k on a skeleton target. 

This set up optimizes heavy attacks thanks to the 3 sets. Just spam the DOTS. Empower by using Degeneration every 9-10 seconds. Spam Merciless Resolve and the Ultimate whenever ready. If you do not want to farm the noble duelist set, you could use the Deadly set from the solo set up without issue, but keep in mind that you will lose 2-3k dps.

Context: After 10 years in ESO, this is actually my first magicka character, so I’m still experimenting with abilities and sets.
