Build Explaination

Welcome to my necromancer dual bow build!

Without any further ado, let's get started.

Most bow builds are limited strictly to Relequen and Tzogvin, for minor force. While this is a good set up, there are other options to get minor force without Tzogvin. Some other builds suggest running barbed trap, but this requires you to dodge in and out of range to maximize your bow damage. (If you run the Point Blank setup, this issue is moot, as you can play from whatever distance you prefer) The option I prefer is to run the alternate morf of trap, Lightweight Beast Trap. This gives minor force, but allows you to stay at a distance.

Gear:

Relequen: Easily the meta set for stamina DPS. You can run Riptide, if you want, but Relequen is better.

Stormfist: a great monster set, this one gave the highest parse when I tested the build, but you can get good service from Kjalnar, Veledreth, or even Slimecraw.

Virulent Shot: This procs poison damage on any targets you hit with Magnum Shot/Draining Shot.

Thunderous Volley: Standard bow backbar weapon.

Kinras' Wrath: Together with Relequen, this is commonly considered the meta for stamina toons. It can be harder to run on a bow/bow toon, due to the greater difficulty in light weaving on a bow.

Skills:

Frontbar

Lethal Arrow: This is your main spammable in conjunction with Blighted Blastbones. See the notes below for more details.

Magnum Shot: This procs the BRP bow and does a decent amount of damage.

Blighted Blastbones: This does a good damage and is the key (along with syphon) to getting high damage on a necromancer.

Detonating Syphon: This is a great DOT that hits enemies near the corpse and enemies the beam touches. It also gives a passive damage boost for having it slotted.

Poison Injection: This is our execute, but it's also a nice single target DOT.

Backbar

Unnerving Boneyard: This applies Major Breach and is a great AOE.

Endless Hail: The classic bow backbar AOE. This procs the Maelstrom bow. You can run Arrow Barrage if you prefer, but it will require swapping to your backbar to recast it more often.

Skeletal Archer: This provides decent damage and a method for corpse production to power your abilities.

Lightweight Beast Trap: This is the key to the whole build. We want minor force on the build, but running Barbed Trap would require us to be dodging in and out of range, as you get higher DPS on a bow build at greater range. LBT allows us to deploy the trap at range. It does require it to be reset more often that the other morf, however.

Detonating Syphon: This is a flex spot. Running this here gives us more damage, but we can easily replace this with a heal with only minor loss of DPS.

A few quick notes: The way to get the best DPS out of your necromancer is to think of Blighted Blastbones (BB) as your main spammable, and Lethal Arrow (LA) as your alternate spammable. In practice, you can squeeze two ability casts in the time it takes for BB to activate and detonate. While the rotation is going to depend on how far away you are from the enemy, (and thus, how often you need to recast Magnum Shot [MS] ) it's likely going to looks something like this (light weaving omitted): Backbar DOTS, BB, MS, LA, BB, LA, LA, BB. . . etc.

The skills are set up for maximized DPS. Unless I'm running vet trials with really good healers, I often replace Boneyard with Necrotic Potency for improved ult generation and the backbar Detonating Syphon for Vigor.

The perfected gear for this set up is nice, but not a game changer. If you have it, great. If not, it's not a big deal.
