Stam Sorc, Dungeoneering, generic - Sorcerer Build PvE - ESO

This build is meant to serve as a generic dungeoneering build fit for both trash packs and bosses. No stacking sets are used, because some dungeon fights forces the stacks to drop.

Guide

Build Explaination

This build draws it's power from having a complete monster set and two arena weapon sets. The powerhouse sets are accompanied by the best non-trial set that is not a stack set: pillar of nirn. This leaves us 3 slots to fill. To choose a 3pc bonus, we head for the strongest one: minor slayer, and it is received from a trial set. There are several solid options to choose from, but for this build I chose a light armor set with a penetration 2pc to help us get more penetration, which we might lack in dungeons. If you feel like your group has enough penetration, you can swap the 3 pieces of roaring opportunist to a set like False god's devotion (light armor, 2pc critical chance) or Arms of Relequen (medium armor, 2pc critical chance).

When fighting, you should always attack the enemy from the sides or from behind to get the flanking bonus of our frontbar set. If the fight does not allow this, you need to swap the vateshran dual wield to blackrose prison dualwield, and swap daedric prey to deadly cloak and shrouded daggers to crystal weapon.

The rotation of this build is the same as any of the vateshran dual wielding stamina sorcerers. First you prebuff with bound armaments, twilight tormentor and volatile familiar, then you cast storm atronach and stampede into the enemy. After it, you start weaving carve, barbed trap, daedric prey, bound armaments. After the starting, you keep up the dots. The priorities are:

1)Carve, this is a skill you must keep up at all times! Do not let the stacks drop. Cast it at 4 seconds remaining if you need to, but do not let the stacks drop! (if the fight does not allow this, swap this to hurricane)

2) Stampede

3) Barbed trap

4) Daedric prey (when below 35%, you can drop this if you do not have an atronach up)

5) Volatile familiar (when below 40% health, you can drop this, you have enough sustain by then and familiar does not provide enough dps to overthrow the shrouded daggers)

6) Shrouded daggers.

Remember to weave the bound armaments as the every 4th skill (exception: if a carve is about to drop, prioritise the carve over the BA). You achieve this by weaving bound armaments when 3 daggers are up (fourth appears from the weave itself).

If your group is lacking in the healing department, consider dropping the tormentor off the bars and use a camoflaged hunter on the frontbar instead of tormentor and dark deal on the backbar instead of tormentor.
