Guide

Build Explanation

This pure Warden build leverages key abilities of the Warden kit along with several two-handed and assault skills to create a potent and durable solo-build for the Night Market that can work well in groups as well with minimal changes. There isn't a strict rotation per say, in order to survive such a dangerous environment, it is critical that you keep up the Netch, your buffs, shields and self heals.

  • Keep Bull Netch iconBull Netch up at all times - recast if you need to cleanse negative effects (there is no cost!).
  • Sustain Ice Fortress iconIce Fortress & Lotus Blossom iconLotus Blossom while in combat, you'll need the Major Resolve and Minor Protection to suppress incoming damage and Blossum provides some passive healing along with Major Savagery.
  • Resolving Vigor iconResolving Vigor is going to be your main heal, you shouldn't need to refresh it every 5 seconds, but I do try to keep Minor Resolve up at all times (cast every 20s).
  • Use Stampede iconStampede to trigger Rush of Agony and stack mobs, this can also interrupt enemies. Make sure to use Brawler iconBrawler to refresh shields constantly. I typically need to cast Brawler every 2-3 attacks to keep those shields up.
  • Use Subterranean Assault iconSubterranean Assault, Endless Hail iconEndless Hail, and Razor Caltrops iconRazor Caltrops when you can. These are going to provide most of your DPS, but they should only be cast when you don't need to refresh your buffs, shields, or HoT.
  • Once the target is below 50% health you can start mixing in Reverse Slice iconReverse Slice but don't neglect your defenses!

This build includes everything you need to stay alive in the Night Market, but ultimately you will also need to play strategically, manage your stamina, and of course dodge/block/interrupt/break free when necessary. This setup provides 5 sources of healing in the solo setup, Lotus Blossum and Bond with Nature procs, passive leach from Reaving Blows & the Ring of the Pale Order, and a powerful burst HoT from Vigor. If you manage your Stamina well, use your combat abilities when necessary, and keep those shields up, you should have no problem soloing trash throughout the Night Market. If you find friends to group up with, just swap out the RotPO for the Velothi-Ur Necklace and you'll retain most of the durability while boosting your DPS and being able to receive outside healing.
