Nord Necromancer Tank (Bone Tyrant + Living Death) with Draconic Power subclass
 

This tank build combines high survivability with the kind of group buffs and debuff uptime that translate into smoother mechanics and faster kills.

• It stabilizes boss fights: reliable taunts, clean positioning, and consistent debuff uptime keep the boss predictable and the arena safe for your group.
• It controls adds (where CC actually works): roots/fears are used to lock down trash and add waves, reducing incoming damage and keeping stacks tight for AoE.
• It’s hard to kill: layered mitigation reduces spike deaths, so healers can play proactively instead of constantly saving the tank.
• It boosts group DPS: Turning Tide creates Major Vulnerability windows, increasing team damage during burn phases.
• It adds a core raid buff: Yolnahkriin provides Minor Courage to the group simply by doing your job (taunting).
• It extends key debuffs: Nazaray turns your ultimates into longer uptime on major/minor debuffs, making DPS phases smoother and more consistent.

Boss loop priorities

1. Maintain taunt (Pierce Armor / Inner Rage)
2. Maintain Blockade (Crusher uptime)
3. Heroic Slash (keep Maim + ult trickle)
4. Spirit Guardian uptime (never let it fall off)
5. Turning Tide proc (once you have it): Block → Bash on cooldown in safe windows 

Add-wave control

• Dark Talons + Agony Totem to stabilize, add damage, and keep stacks tidy.

Ult usage

• Ferocious Leap: frequent defensive tempo + reposition
• Ravenous Goliath: long “survive the phase” button
• With Nazaray, ult when key debuffs are up to extend them.
