SETS:
Rush of Agony - When you use
Chains of Dominance to pull something to you, more chains in a delayed animation will reach out and drag nearby enemies onto the original point of impact. I suggest doing the initial pull while in melee distance from your target so that the proc of this set pulls everything around you directly to you.
Pearlescent Ward- Preferrably perfected gear in you are able, but this set passively increases the damage of the party, and if everyone is going down, you are harder to kill. Also Minor Aegis. Hard to argue with an effect like that! While working on obtaining trial gear, you could consider replacing this with the
Tormentor set.
Archdruid Devyric - This monster set gives Major Vulnerability as an aoe when you heavy attack a target. Using heavy attacks in between skills for resource management is a good tactic, so proccing this monster set is easy to do. Also a cute golden ghost-bear gets up on its hind legs and attacks your target when you proc the debuff effect.
((
Nazaray is potentially a good substitution if you change one of your ultimates to
Ferocious Leap for example, which has 125 ultimate cost compared to
Gibbering Shelter's 200 cost. Something to use when you don't need the same shield ultimate on two bars, that will proc
Nazaray more often during the duration of the fight. Also, i suggest if you use
Nazaray instead, you should wait to use your ultimate until the initial round of debuffs has been applied to a boss. ))
SKILLS:
- The front bar, shield and sword, is a set up that works better on trash mobs.
- The back bar, shield and sword, is a set up better suited to bosses.
FRONT BAR:
Chains of Dominance - your primary way to proc
Rush of Agony gear, the Rush of Agony gear will pull in an aoe around the impact point of where the monster you chained was standing.
Beckoning Armor - a source of Major Resolve and Minor Resolve , this skill also pulls in and taunts anything that is ranged automatically, crowd controlling passively while active. Could also be
Choking Talons to freeze everything around you that you manually pull to yourself with other effects.
Ulfsild's Contingency - a heal over time and light aoe damage when you activate it and then use any other skill. I like combining it with
Soul Burst. Also grants you Minor Protection for a time.
Soul Burst - Mainly used for it's delayed aoe pull in toward you, this also makes you move a bit faster with Minor Expedition and the class mastery has the potential to increase your stats on trash pulls.
Blood of the Green Dragon - Major Fortitude Major Endurance and Minor Vitality attached to a BIG self-heal and a smaller heal over time.

BACK BAR:
Cruxweaver Armor - Grants Major Resolve as well (just like
Beckoning Armor on the front bar,) and it applies Minor Breach (also
Pierce Armor on the backbar does that,) but while you are damaged you will passively gain crux while you are damaged and this is active. It helps to keep you at 3 crux without having to think about it, which is useful because of
Runic Sunder's passive ability.
Runic Sunder - It's a distance taunt skill that also applies Minor Maim to its target, and it also just seperately decreases the targets armor by an additional amount thats specific to this skill (not a minor/major debuff). It ALSO generates crux when used. As i mentioned before, just for having it slotted, you can be at 3 crux between this skill and
Cruxweaver Armor easily and gain an additional 6% damage reduction.
Pierce Armor - This is the best taunt imho, it's melee but it applies Major Breach and Minor Breach at the same time on your target. (It's true that [Cruxweavor Armor] also applies Minor Breach,) but this is my preferred method of debuffing with Breaches.
Rune of the Colorless Pool - not particularly used for the stun, but Minor Vulnerability and Minor Brittle are amazing debuffs to add to the boss.
Defensive Stance - Flex spot. I prefer this because of the large damage shield and the block mitigation enchancement, but it could be another self-heal just as well.
---
ULTIMATE:
Gibbering Shelter - Very big shield for you, large shields appear on your allies when you get hit for the duration. Good 'uh oh' button if the group is going down fast, and/or if you need to save yourself from something bad. I have found that using this skill on both bars isn't necessary, but i also don't believe a skill other than this one is needed. I have considered
Reviving Barrier for this as well, but I like
Gibbering Shelter in most situations due to how BIG a shield it gives you scaled off your health.
