Guide

Build Explaination

This build abuses the ignore resistance aspect of Corrosive Armor.

Witch-Knight's Defiance could be replaced with Hunding's Rage, Deadly Strike, Swamp Raider or The Morag Tong.

Skills

* The order of the abilities on these bars doesn't matter, just as long as these abilities stay on their respective bars.

Front Bar - 2H Sword

  1. Molten Whip - Passively slotted for damage buff
  2. Dizzying Swing - Main spammable Damage source, applies Off Balance, Stuns Off Balance
  3. Brawler - Area Damage + Damage Shield
  4. Venomous Claw - DoT - Procs Molten Whip damage buff
  5. Noxious Breath - AoE DoT + Major Breach - Procs Molten Whip damage buff
  6. ULT - Corrosive Armor - Enemy Resistance Mitigation, AoE Damage, Damage Reduction

Backbar - Dual Wield - Sword, Axe, or Dagger

Bow could be used with Poison Injection in place of Whirling Blades.

Running Poison Injection instead of Whirling Blades would benefit from the damage set you choose to use, whether it be Witch-Knight's Defiance (Poison), Deadly Strike (DoT), Swamp Raider (Poison) or The Morag Tong (Poison).

Whirling Blades would benefit from Dual Wield's Ruffian and Slaughter Passives.

  1. Cauterize - Main Heal, Procs Molten Whip damage buff
  2. Whirling Blades - AoE Execute
  3. Green Dragon Blood - 33% Heal + Heal over time, Major Fortitude, Major Endurance, Minor Vitality
  4. Igneous Weapons - Major Brutality & Sorcery + procs Mountain's Blessing
  5. Molten Whip - Passively slotted for damage buff
  6. ULT - Werewolf - 15% Stamina Recovery

FLEX SLOTS

Brawler can be replaced with any ability, but a heal or damage shield (like Brawler) is recommended

Werewolf on the Back Bar is advised for the passive 15% bonus Stamina Recovery, but any ultimate can be used.

ROTATION

The Optimal rotation for this build would be to start on the back bar and cast Igneous Weapons, Cauterize, GDB, --SWAP--, Noxious, Venomous, then spam Dizzy and refresh abilities as needed. Cast Corrosive after Igneous before engaging enemy players. Swap to back bar when you need to regen Stamina of finish off a low health enemy with an execute (Whirling Blades or Poison Injection).

OTHER

If used in a non-PvP scenario, Corrosive Armor could be replaced with Standard of Might to give allies a damage and resistance buff.

The sets that Witch-Knight's Defiance could be replaced by could also include Pestilent Host, Vicecanon of Venom, Plaguebreak or Affliction.

The third set I'd advise using is Caustic Arrow (If using Poison Injection), Radial Uppercut, Balorgh, Valkyn Skoria or the Ring of the Pale Order. Any other 1 to 2-piece set could fit into your last slots. (if using a 1-piece, don't forget Trainee or another 1-peice for the other slot!)

The Basic Crown Fortifying Meal works for food. I don't know if there is a food like the Bewitched Sugar Skulls but it gives Stamina Recovery instead of Health recovery. If there is, it would be the optimal one to use

On paper, this build has high numbers. These theoretical numbers have not been tested in PvP, PvE or on  a Training Dummy
