Guide

Build Explaination

this build is about 75% dps with 25% room for healing on the standard setup. essentially, your healing relies on casting Purifying Light every 6s and maintaining Echoing Vigor and Cauterize. The latter of those can also be used as burst if necessary in tough situations. Otherwise, your primary objective is building ult and parsing boss, as well as maintaining the buff on Powerful Assault via Trample and Vigor.

Adjustments for more damage could include:

  • swapping Cauterize for Flames of Oblivion
  • swapping Glacial Colossus for Standard of Might
  • dropping Purifying Light and running Blighted Blastbones as a semi-spammable

Adjustments for more healing could include:

  • Traditional destro front bar and resto backbar, dropping debuff skills like Engulfing or Boneyard for Resto staff heals like radiating/illustrious.
  • Swapping out Ardent Flame for a full heal line like Siphoning.
  • Swapping Mundus stone to The Ritual.
  • Running more Scribed Skill heals, like Healing/Warding Burst or Warding Contingency. (If doing this, remember to pick up Mages guild / Soul Magic passives.)

Monster helm is set as Baron Zaudrus for ulti gen, but on current setup, it would also be doable to run Encratis Behemoth (proc via Whip or any flame damaging ability/attack) or Archdruid Devyric (keep in mind you do not need to fully heavy attack in order to proc the Major Vuln), or Nunatak (using Trample).

If you struggle with sustain, Master Architect is a suitable alternative to War Machine, but you will lose Critical Damage, so keep in mind you may want to change CP.
