Guide

Build Explanation

The basic idea behind this build is to replicate the buffing and mobility of the Dancer job in FF14. As a result, we stuck with bow and dual wielding. The exact weapons may change, based on the needs of the build. If you are short on penetration, then maces, and if you need crit, then daggers are fine.

The general idea is to use your bow to engage a fight, and then lotus fan in, and fight in melee, until you run out of stamina or are taking too much damage, at which point you swap back to bow and vault back out.

While typically tanks and/or healers will have access to Major/Minor Breach, we added it to our soul burst skill to help with any solo play. If the Breach is unneeded, feel free to swap for another script.

The ultimates chosen are more meant to represent the play style of the Dancer, and so one is for more burst, while the other is for group damage reduction. These can be swapped as needed, based on group composition. Final Fantasy currently operates on "burst windows" so if you have access to trial gear, the gear is set up to try to replicate that feeling.

While not the strongest overall build, this build should work fine for most content, especially if playing with friends who can assist with any potential shortcomings.

Other decent Monster sets would be Black Gem Monstrosity and Thousand Eyes.
