Shadow is our source of Major Resolve (in place of Hurricane, since this is not a brawling build) + on-demand Strike from the Shadows. Designed to take full advantage of double-barring Oakfather, which will push Poison Injection's backbar damage. Recuperative Treatise on frontbar (for Arcanist passives) pushes our status effect damage from Elemental Weapon.

3471 armor from Markyn more than makes up for wearing 4 pieces of light armor. We are using Imperial Wrath as our 3 piece set to get the 3rd Markyn bonus and push spell damage even higher, since all our direct damage abilities are ranged.

For update 50 (remains to be tested): replace Markyn with Shattered Paths Signet and Oakfather with Threads of War. This will push our status effect damage to absurd heights and make every light attack on our frontbar apply Concussion (which does 15% more damage if the target is already Concussed).
