Tactical Nuke - Necromancer Build PvE - ESO

Intro

This build is all about creating massive explosions that deal damage in an area. Between Blighted Blastbones, Corpseburster, Detonating Siphon, Azureblight Reaper, and Shooting Star, there are plenty of explosions going off at anytime during each encounter. It does solid single target damage but excels when surrounded by multiple enemies. This build is designed around generating corpses, consuming corpses, damage over time, and generating ultimate.

Generating Corpses

Corpses will be generating with Blighted Blastbones and Venomous Skull.  Blighted Blastbones will be cast every third skill. This can be a bit of a challenge at first but becomes easier once you get the hang of it. Venomous Skull will be cast only when the third cast is ready, visible when you see the number 2 displayed on the skill, and when there are no corpses that can be consummed.

Corpse Consumption

The Corpseburster set procs off consuming corpses. The main corpse consuming skill will be Detonating Siphon. Reactivating this skill will causee two explosions, one from the skill and one from Corpseburster. This acts as a semi-spammable skill. Avid Boneyard will also proc Corspeburster if a corpse is consumed but will only be cast when it ends or when it is about to end. Be sure to cast the skill when there is a corpse present to ensure that it procs Corpseburster as well as to benefit from the bonus 30% damage. Also, be sure to use the Grave Robber synergy when available (20 second cooldown).

Damage Over Time

DoTs will be used to proc Azureblight Reaper. The more DoTs, the quicker it will proc. Avid Boneyard, Detonating Siphon, Stampede, and Scalding Rune will apply multiple stacks of Blight Seed to multiple targets. Status affects will also apply stacks of Blight Seed but only to targets you strike with your weapon (typically). Shooting Star will also contribute to the Blight Seed stacks.

Ultimate Generation

This is where Necromancers excel. The reason for keeping Living Death is for the Corpse Consumption passive. With the base ulti gen and Minor Heroism, this allows for quick ultimate generation, allow for quick deployment of Shooting Star, which will also generate ultimate based on the number of targets struck. Receiving additional ultimate generation from group members means even more frequent Shooting Stars.

Using the Build

Be sure to maintain Stampede, Skeletal Archer, and all of the DoTs. Cast Blighted Blastbones every third skill cast. Cast Avid Boneyard when there is a corpse. Cast Venomous Skull when there is no corpse to consume. Spam Detonating Siphon and watch the explosions go off.
