See the New Animations for Flurry and Templar Jabs in ESO's Next Patch

We've covered the more controversial changes on the Lost Depths PTS quite a bit so far this week, so this time let's look at something a little bit more... chilled.

The animations for a couple of channeled skills have been changed, since the number of hits these attacks will dish out to targets has been adjusted. These animations are on the PTS already, and we've recorded them so we can showcase them here for people who don't have the PTS installed or don't have access to it.

New Animation for Flurry in ESO

The first of the two skills to get a new animation is Flurry, along with its two different morphs Rapid Strikes and Bloodthirst

I think this one probably hasn't been polished by the developers yet, it still seems to need some work especially with the audio that goes along with the animation itself. The timing of the two does not seem to match up too well at the moment. Personally I prefer the old animation, to me this looks like sped up light attacks being spammed, but again it might not be finished yet so I cannot judge it too harshly.

New Animation for Puncturing Strikes in ESO

The second new animation is for Puncturing Strikes, and its morphs of Biting Jabs and Puncturing Sweep

This one I like a lot more, it seems to be the more polished of the two animations at the moment. The sound maybe needs a little bit more work to get it completely synced with the animation, but its not as far out as with the Flurry animation and the actual sound effects are very crisp and quite satisfying.

These are just my opinions, though. What do you think about them? Feel free to leave a comment on the videos.
