Fishing is an aspect of ESO that quite a lot of players are very familiar with.
After doing lots of fishing, you'll have stacks upon stacks of fish in your inventory that need to be filleted before you can use them for Provisioning. There's also a small chance of dropping a Perfect Roe each time you fillet a fish, a valuable crafting item used for recipes like the Psijic Ambrosia.
Players who frequently fish have long been troubled by a very clunky system for filleting the fish, basically you have to go into your inventory and do them one by one, which can be really annoying and time consuming, especially considering some players literally do hundreds of them in one go.
Luckily there's a new quality of life improvement in the next update which will finally solve this problem.
How To Fillet Multiple Fish at Once in ESO
On June 5th (June 20th for console players) the next major ESO update will be going live, along with the new Necrom Chapter.
The base game update will include a new quality of life feature that allows you to fillet many fish at once.
You will be able to visit any Provisioning Station in the game (normally used for cooking and brewing recipes) and from there you can access a new tab for filleting fish.
In this tab you can select all of the fish you want to fillet (presumably all of them) and then immediately fillet all of them. This makes the process as simple as refining ore at a Blacksmithing Station, and it will save heaps of time for players who are doing this a lot.
If for some reason you still want to do it the old way, then fear not. Filleting individual fish directly from your inventory will still be an option.
