What Is the Gold Coast Bazaar in ESO?
The Gold Coast Bazaar is a new tab inside the Crown Store UI (not a physical in-game location) where you can spend Trade Bars to purchase collectibles that were previously locked behind:
- In-game events
- Daily Login Rewards
- Golden Pursuits
- Chapter-related community challenges
- Promotions (Twitch Drops, Prime Gaming, etc.)
Gold Coast Bazaar Release Dates
- March 25: Gold Coast Bazaar storefront activates with an initial inventory and Event Tickets convert to Trade Bars
- April 2: Season Zero launches and the full Bazaar rewards become available
Trade Bars: The New Currency
Trade Bars are the exclusive currency used in the Gold Coast Bazaar and Event Merchants. They fully replace Event Tickets and are designed to reward consistent gameplay instead of limited-time participation.
How to Earn Trade Bars
You can earn Trade Bars through:
- Tamriel Tomes System: Season Zero Tome includes up to 9,000 Trade Bars!
- In-Game Events: Event Tickets have been converted to Trade Bars
- PvP Veterancy Track: Details have not yet been fully revealed
Trade Bar Rules:
- Cannot be bought with Crowns
- No currency cap (earn as much as you want and spend whenever)
- Earned only through gameplay
- Do not expire
Event Ticket Conversion (Update 49)
With Update 49, Event Tickets are permanently retired.
- March 25: The Gold Coast Bazaar storefront activates and all existing Event Tickets automatically convert to Trade Bars.
- Conversion rate: 1 Event Ticket = 100 Trade Bars
Gold Coast Bazaar Wares and Rotations
The Bazaar is divided into two main sections:
- Seasonal Wares: Rotates with each new season. Features cosmetics and limited time selections tied to current theme/content.
- Gold Coast Wares: Evergreen (Permanent) inventory.

Why ZeniMax Introduced the Gold Coast Bazaar
Previously, rare collectibles could disappear for years with no clear return schedule. This created heavy reliance on FOMO-driven promotions and unpredictable rotations.
With the seasonal model, the Gold Coast Bazaar allows ZOS to:
- Reintroduce legacy rewards on a predictable schedule
- Respond faster to player requests for returning items
- Reduce dependence on limited-time exclusivity
In short, it gives players more control and better transparency over how and when they can earn rare collectibles.
