Hello!

This is a stamina nightblade build for my wood elf character. It features good sustain and DPS, as well as versatility in both overland and solo dungeons.

The build is focused on critical damage as well as penetration, with Surprise Attack as the main spammable skill, followed by Killer's Blade when target is at or below 25% HP.*

For survivability, this build relies on mythic item Ring of the Pale Order to provide a 20% heal on all dealt damage. It also features Leeching Strikes skill for an extra flat heal every second, including an active stamina/magicka restore. Additional active self heal is also possible with Resolving Vigor skill.

P.S. The only difference between the Dungeon and Overland setups is the head piece gear.

Tips:

• Dealing damage is how you actively tank; the more damage dealt, the better your survivability.
• Utilize damage over time (DOTs) skills like Deadly Cloak, Endless Hail, Poison Injection, or Toxic Barrage to provide consistent damage and healing.
• Activating Leeching Strikes skill restores stamina, but costs health if not fully stacked. You can alternate between activating Leeching Strikes and Resolving Vigor to offset the health loss, as well as weaving a light attack in between skills and applying DOTs. This is helpful in tough situations where stamina is depleted.
• Make sure to apply Surprise Attack's sundered status effect by attacking a target from behind; this ensures maximum penetration, especially useful in dungeons.
• You can tank quite a lot by applying DOTs and activating Resolving Vigor, allowing time to revive a friend or companion.
• Killer's Blade deals 1x damage at enemy HP 100% to 50%. It starts scaling damage up to 4x when enemy HP is around 0%. While it matches Surprise Attack's damage when enemy HP is at 36%, it is better to hold off until 25% ~ 30% due to Surprise Attack's guaranteed critical hit every 3 seconds, as well as it's Minor Breach passive that takes effect in dungeons.
