Build Explaination

Heavy Only MagSorc

Daedric Summoning (Sorcerer)

Assassination (Night Blade)

Animal Companions (Warden)

All I’m doing here is holding heavy attack for 4 minutes, I’m not using any skills, ultimate’s or potions.

I plan for this to be the first build in a progression series that adds a skill press each build to get higher DPS.

*

Front bar

Magical banner – Provides 6% magical damage bonus, increases weapon and spell damage depending on our movement speed (this is why we have celerity red CP and Concealed weapon skill on the back bar), provides major brutality and sorcery.

Merciless Resolve – A burst heal if we need it, passively adds major savagery and prophecy, passively increases crit chance and damage because of assassination skill line passives (Pressure points & Haemorrhage)

Inner Light – Increases max magicka by 5%, passively gives savagery and prophecy but we already get that from Merciless Resolve so we only use this for the max mag increase.

Twilight tormentor – fight for you automatically, provide passive buffs.

Volatile Familiar - fight for you automatically, provide passive buffs.

Wild Guardian - fight for you automatically, provide passive buffs.

*

Back Bar

Magical banner – Explained already but it’s also on the back bar to stop it deactivating when you bar swap.

Concealed Weapon – passively boosts speed, which in turn boosts the damage bonus granted by magical banner.

Flex Spot – Can use a heal or whatever you like here.

Twilight tormentor – fight for you automatically, provide passive buffs, but it’s also on the back bar to stop it deactivating when you bar swap.

Volatile Familiar - fight for you automatically, provide passive buffs, but it’s also on the back bar to stop it deactivating when you bar swap.

Wild Guardian - fight for you automatically, provide passive buffs, but it’s also on the back bar to stop it deactivating when you bar swap.

I tried a lot of variations to this including…

Using flame enchant on the weapons – This had very similar results but on average I parsed slightly lower so I used weapon damage.

I also thought that fighting finesse / backstabber would be the best CP but every time I changed it out for something else DPS went down by about 1K no matter what variation I chose even though I am slightly under the Critical CAP.

I’ve used inner light for the max mag, I did try swapping it out for another assassination skill or fighters guild skill for the passives but the max mag gave better results.
