Bedlam Veil is a 4-player dungeon added to ESO with the Scions of Ithelia DLC.
The Bedlam Veil is a secret vault found within the Oblivion demi-realm of Maelstrom (the same realm that contains the Maelstrom Arena). The dungeon contains a quest and storyline - the story is related to the storyline of the Gold Road Chapter that will be released later in 2024, but can also be enjoyed as a standalone experience.
Bedlam Veil will contain new item sets, as well as achievements for you to complete, some of which will yield collectable rewards. The dungeon can be played on Normal or Veteran difficulty, with an optional Veteran Hardmode available on the boss encounters.
(2 items) Adds 1096 Maximum Magicka (3 items) Adds 4% Healing Done (4 items) Adds 1096 Maximum Magicka (5 items) Increase the strength of your Damage Shields by 13% to you and targets 15 meters of you. Increase your Healing Done by 13% to targets more than 15 meters away from you.
(2 items) Adds 1206 Maximum Health (3 items) Adds 1206 Maximum Health (4 items) Adds 1096 Maximum Stamina (5 items) When you taunt an enemy, gain a stack of Broken Shards for 5 seconds, up to 5 stacks max. You can only gain one stack every 1 second. When Broken Shards ends, you release the stacks in an 8 meter blast, dealing 920 Physical Damage to enemies hit and applying Major Maim to them for 3 seconds per stack of Broken Shards consumed, reducing their damage done by 10%. The damage scales off your Max Health.
(2 items) Adds 657 Critical Chance (3 items) Adds 657 Critical Chance (4 items) Adds 657 Critical Chance (5 items) When you deal Critical Damage to an enemy, glass shards burst 8 meters around them, dealing 1129 Physical Damage to enemies in the burst and applying the Sundered status effect. This effect can occur once every 8 seconds and the damage scales off the higher of your Weapon or Spell Damage.
(1 item) Adds 657 Critical Chance (2 items) Critically healing yourself or an ally grants them a Hydroglass Damage Shield that absorbs up to 2692 damage for 6 seconds. While the Damage Shield holds and for 3 seconds after it ends, the target gains Minor Force, increasing their Critical Damage done by 10%. This effect can occur once every 6 seconds per target.
Defeat all encounters in addition to the Shattered Champion, Darkshard, and the Blind within 25 minutes of entering Veteran Bedlam Veil. Your timer starts upon engaging the first enemies.
Defeat all encounters in addition to the Shattered Champion, Darkshard, and the Blind after placing the Challenge Banner in Veteran Bedlam Veil within 25 minutes without suffering a group member death.
