The Gold Coast is the site of the Dark Brotherhood and invites everyone that feels the urge to slit some throats. This quest arc might not be for those that have a hard time killing the innocent and might be skipped, but if you personally want to experience the entirety of the story arcs that ESO has to offer, you might want to look over this little fact and play it regardless.

In order to start the questline, you will have to talk to Amelie Crowe at any Outlaws Refuge in any town. After you have talked to her you will have to travel to Anvil and talk to Amelie again. She will ask you to kill an innocent. After you have done so a messenger will wait for you at the docks and invite you to the Anvil Lighthouse, where you can finally talk to the Speaker Terenus, which will lead you down the road of the Night Mother.
