In this part of the Antiquities Guide we are going to take a look at some of the questions players usually have.
Q: Do I need the Greymoor DLC to use the Antiquities System?
A:
Yes. You will be able to get leads even without the Greymoor DLC, but
you won't be able to get the skill lines and tools needed to use the
Antiquities System directly.
Q: Are “Leads” character or account bound?
A: “Leads” in the Antiquities System are account bound, that means you can use them on any character of your choice.
Q: Can I trade “Leads”?
A: No, they are account bound to you, that means they can't be traded.
Q: How long will “Leads” be in the waiting queue?
A: “Leads” will stay in your system for 30 days, after that if you haven’t used them, they will disappear.
Q: How do I find or get Mythic items from the Antiquities System?
A:
To get Mythic items you need to find five separate leads. Once you have
the five leads, you will be able to create the Mythic item.
Q: Do I need to be max level to find higher quality “Leads”?
A: No, you can find even high level leads even if you aren't max level.
Q: Do all zones have Antiquities?
A:
Almost all of the zones have Antiquities, that means you need access to
all Chapters and DLCs (or ESO+) if you want to get all the Antiquities
in the game.
Q: How do I start my Antiquities adventure?
A:
Visit the Antiquarians Circle in the city of Solitude in Western Skyrim
(right next to the Bards College) and speak to Verita Numida. She will
also give you the Antiquarian’s Eye Tool, the tutorial quest and some
basic “Leads” to get you started.
Q: How do I get my first “Lead”?
A: You can find the location to start the Antiquities System here.
