Return to Skyrim and the Reach during the Dark Heart of Skyrim Celebration! This event encompasses the entire year's worth of content for the Dark Heart of Skyrim storyline, including both the Greymoor Chapter and DLC zones, as well as all four dungeons released as part of the year (Icereach, Unhallowed Grave, Castle Thorn, and Stone Garden).
How to Start the Dark Heart of Skyrim Celebration Event in ESO
To begin participating in the Dark Heart of Skyrim Event, you need to complete the introductory quest, Bloody Reunion. There are three methods to obtain the quest during the event:
- Pick it up for free in the Crown Store.
- Find a note at any Impresario tent.
- Directly from the quest giver, Mel Adrys, near Karthwatch in Western Skyrim.
What Rewards are Available During Dark Heart of Skyrim?
During the event, you will be able to obtain Event Tickets, as well as reward boxes that contain valuable items such as style motif pages, crafting ingredients, treasure maps, furnishing recipes as well as items that can be sold at a vendor for extra gold. Bosses in Western Skyrim, The Reach, Kyne's Aegis, Vateshran Hollows, Icereach, Unhallowed Grave, Castle Thorn, Stone Garden will drop double loot during the event. Daily quests and resource nodes in Western Skyrim and The Reach will also yield extra rewards.
Reward Boxes in Dark Heart of Skyrim
The first daily quest you complete each day in Western Skyrim or The Reach will award a Glorious Box of Gray Host Pillage. Subsequent daily quests will instead reward you with a slightly lower quality Box of Gray Host Pillage. The boxes can contain the following rewards:
- Style Motifs and Style Materials from the Blackreach Vanguard, Greymoor, Nighthollow, Arkthzand Armory and Wayward Guardian styles.
- Skyrim-specific crafting materials, namely Chaurus Eggs, Vile Coagulant and Crimson Nirnroot
- Treasure Maps
- Furnishing Recipes
- Style pages for the new Saarthal Scholar armor style
- Style pages for the Sovngarde Stalwart armor style, returning from Lost Treasures of Skyrim
- Treasures to sell at a vendor for extra gold
- Overland set items from Skyrim zones, of blue or purple quality
You will also be able to earn Boxes of Gray Host Pillage from the following activities (only in Skyrim zones):
- Defeating Delve and World Bosses
- Defeating World Events (Harrowstorms)
- Defeating bosses in Unhallowed Grave, Icereach, Stone Garden and Castle Thorn, as well as in Kyne's Aegis and Vateshran Hollows.
- Defeating monsters
- Opening Treasure Chests, Psijic Portals, Thieves Troves, Strongboxes, etc.
- Harvesting Resource Nodes, such as ore veins, wood, plants etc.
How to Earn Event Tickets in Dark Heart of Skyrim
You can earn two Event tickets per day during the Dark Heart of Skyrim celebration. The first event ticket is earned from the first Daily Quest you complete in Western Skyrim each day, and the second is from the first Daily Quest you complete in The Reach.
Event Ticket Rewards in Dark Heart of Skyrim
During the Dark Heart of Skyrim event, the Impresario will be available and will be selling the following items:
- Bound Style Pages for the Saarthal Scholar style - 5 Event Tickets each
- Companion Guild Commendations - 3 Event Tickets Each
- All three fragments of the Soulfire Dragon Illusion pet (Hallowed Hourglass Basin, Illuminated Dragon Scroll, Kvatchian Incense) - 5 Event Tickets each
- The first two fragments of the Sacred Hourglass of Alkosh furnishing (Engraved Glassblowing Tools and Hallowed White-Gold Ingot) - 10 Event Tickets each
- Impresario's Group Repair Kit - 2 Event Tickets Each
The Indrik Vendor will also be active, and will sell the following items:
- All feathers for Nascent Indrik - 5 Event Tickets each
- All four berries to create the Crimson Indrik - 10 Event Tickets each
- All four berries to create the Pure-Snow Indrik - 10 Event Tickets each
- The Frost-Light Indrik pet - 10 Event Tickets
- The Rosethorn Indrik pet - 10 Event Tickets
