Oathsworn Pit is a 4-player dungeon added to ESO with the Scions of Ithelia DLC.
The Oathsworn Pit is a training ground for followers of Malacath. The dungeon contains a quest and storyline - the story is related to the storyline of the Gold Road Chapter that will release later in 2024, but can also be enjoyed as a standalone experience.
Oathsworn Pit will contain new item sets, as well as achievements for you to complete, some of which will yield collectible rewards. The dungeon can be played on Normal or Veteran difficulty, with an optional Veteran Hardmode available on the boss encounters.
(1 item) Adds 129 Weapon and Spell Damage (2 items) Attacking an enemy with a fully-charged Heavy Attack throws an axe at your enemy, dealing 1572 Physical damage and reducing their Armor by 400 for 5 seconds. This effect can occur once every 10 seconds and the damage and armor reduction scale off the higher of your Weapon or Spell Damage.
The axe drops to the ground after traveling to your target for 5 seconds. Touching the axe reduces the cooldown of this set by 5 seconds.
(2 items) Adds 4% Healing Taken (3 items) Adds 1206 Maximum Health (4 items) Adds 1206 Maximum Health (5 items) After taking direct damage three times within 5 seconds, you create a 5 meter area for 10 seconds that grants Grounding to you and group members, reducing the cost of roll dodging by 20% and increasing block mitigation by 12% for 15 seconds. This effect can occur once every 10 seconds.
(2 items) Adds 1 Offensive Penetration (3 items) Adds 1 Weapon and Spell Damage (4 items) Adds 1 Weapon and Spell Damage (5 items) On dealing damage, summon a Cindermoth that chases your target without mercy for 8 seconds. If your target is slain before the moth reaches its goal, it seeks a new target within 8 meters. The first enemy that nears the Cindermoth causes it to stop and burst after 1 second, dealing 1283 Flame damage and Burning enemies within 8 meters. This can occur once every 8 seconds and scales off your Weapon or Spell Damage.
(2 items) Adds 129 Stamina Recovery (3 items) Adds 129 Weapon and Spell Damage (4 items) Adds 1487 Offensive Penetration (5 items) Healing yourself or an ally makes the recipient Blood Hungry for 3 seconds. When you deal direct damage to an enemy, the enemy becomes Bloodied for 3 seconds. Bloodied enemies take 4% more damage from and deal 4% less damage to Blood Hungry targets.
Defeat all encounters in addition to Packmaster Rethelros, Anthelmir and Anthelmir's Construct, and Aradros the Awakened in Veteran Oathsworn Pit without suffering a group member death.
Defeat all encounters in addition to Packmaster Rethelros, Anthelmir and Anthelmir's Construct, as well as Aradros the Awakened after placing the Challenge Banner in Veteran Oathsworn Pit within 25 minutes without suffering a group member death. Your timer starts upon engaging the first group of enemies.
