Making and Sharing Your ESO Builds has Never Been Easier

The ESO Hub Build Editor continues to get better thanks to your invaluable feedback.

It's been a couple of weeks since we launched our new Build Editor Beta for the Elder Scrolls Online. In the time since then we've had a great response from players creating all sorts of builds.

We already have over 500 user-created builds on ESO Hub, with many more being added every day, and your feedback has been invaluable in helping us to make the Build Editor even better.
Today the Build Editor was also featured by Zenimax in an ESO Community Spotlight article, along with an interview about the project with Alcast.

In this article we will go over what is new with the Build Editor since it first launched. Note that this won't be an exhaustive list, our team has been working hard on the project and there have been many changes both big and small.

What is the ESO Hub Build Editor?

For those who haven't seen it yet, the Build Editor is a new tool on ESO Hub that allows you to easily create and share builds for the Elder Scrolls Online, and to view builds made by other users.

To access the Build Editor, simply click the blue "Create Build" button at the top of ESO Hub. To learn more about how to use the Build Editor, you can either scroll to the bottom of the Build Editor page to the "Explaining the ESO Build Editor" section, or check out our original article from when we announced the Build Editor Beta.

If you encounter any issues when using the Build Editor, or have suggestions on how you think it could be improved, then please share them with us by joining our Discord and posting them in the eso-hub channel in the Project Feedback category.

What's new with the ESO Hub Build Editor?

The team has been busy fixing bugs that were reported by users, and we have also added a few new features based on user feedback, too.

Based on user feedback, you can now create up to five different setups for each build, add lists to your build description in the text editor, make your build "Unlisted" meaning that only people with the link can view it, and you can now also shift-click when adding or subtracting attribute points to make the process much quicker (It basically works exactly the same as it does in the game now).

We have also reworked the Builds Overview Page, which acts as a central hub from which you can explore user-created builds. The builds are divided into categories based on their class and role, and you can also search for builds on this page. Searching by user works too, so if you are a content creator then you can rest assured that your viewers will easily be able to find your builds on ESO Hub.

On a final note, we want to say a big thank you to everyone who has already tested the Build Editor, left feedback, or created or shared a build. Your input has already been very important and we will keep working to make the ESO Hub Build Editor as good as it can possibly be.

We hope you enjoyed this article about the ESO Hub Build Editor. ESO (Elder Scrolls Online) is a massively multiplayer online game (MMO) developed by Zenimax Online Studios.
