The Dark Heart of Skyrim Event is now active in the Elder Scrolls Online, and will last until November 29th.
There will be double boss loot in Skyrim zones and their associated dungeons, trials and arenas during this event, as well as double resource node yields from the aforementioned locations.
On top of these boons, there are new special rewards available in the game. Today we will cover everything you need to know about this event in order to obtain the new rewards.
Dark Heart of Skyrim Reward Boxes
During Dark Heart of Skyrim, you will be able to earn Boxes of Gray Host Pillage by completing various activities in Skyrim-related zones and their associated dungeons, trials and arenas.
Completing Skyrim daily quests will yield a box for each quest that you complete, and you also have a chance to earn a box by defeating bosses and world events, and looting treasure chests and resource nodes in Skyrim zones like Western Skyrim and The Reach.
The first daily quest you complete each day will yield a higher quality Glorious Box of Gray Host Pillage, which is more likely to contain rare items.
When you open these boxes, you can find a variety of different thematic rewards, such as:
- Crafting style motifs from the Skyrim dungeon DLCs
- Style pages for the Saarthal Scholar and Sovngarde Stalwart pages (only available from this event)
- Treasure Maps
- Furnishing Recipes
- Overland Set items from Skyrim zones
- And more besides

Dark Heart of Skyrim Event Tickets and Impresario Goods
As with most events in ESO, you can earn Event Tickets and spend these at the Impresario or Indrik Vendor for special rewards.
You can earn two Event Tickets per day during this event - one from the first daily quest you complete in Western Skyrim, and the other from the first daily quest you complete in The Reach.
A secret tip for getting your daily tickets fast: pick up both the Harrowstorm quest in Western Skyrim and The Reach. Then complete one Harrowstorm in The Reach, and both quests should be completed and ready to be handed in.
The Impresario will be selling the first two fragments of the Sacred Hourglass of Alkosh furnishing, which will allow you to set a static time of day in your player homes.
She also sells all three fragments of the Soulfire Dragon Illusion pet, which you must have in your collections in order to create the Sacred Hourglass of Alkosh later in the year.
On top of that, she'll be selling bound style pages for the new Saarthal Scholar style.
As for the Indrik Vendor, she will be selling all fragments of the Nascent Indrik, Crimson Indrik and Pure-Snow Indrik mounts, as well as the Frost-Light Indrik and Rosethorn Indrik pets.
