Today we will take a look at three more item sets in ESO - Dragon's Defilement, Hollowfang Thirst and Necropotence. Are these sets any good, where can you find them, and what uses do they have?

Dragon's Defilement set in ESO

Dragon's Defilement is a heavy armor set, making it perfect for tanks. And it is definitely tanks who will get the most out of this set. Wearing this set will passively grant you extra health and stamina, When you are wearing all five pieces, you will also get even more extra health as well as a new special ability.

When you take damage from a melee attack, you will apply Minor Breach to all nearby enemies for five seconds. The cooldown is also five seconds, meaning the downtime on the set should be very low.

It's important to note that tanks in the Elder Scrolls Online are normally applying Minor Breach to their targets anyway with their melee taunt, Pierce Armor. This means that Dragon's Defilement can be pretty useful for trash encounters in dungeons or arenas where there are simply too many enemies to taunt all of them. But in any encounters where there are only a few enemies or just one, the set becomes pretty much useless.

So in summary, you could put this on a saved build which is optimized for large trash pulls, switch to it when one of those types of encounters is coming up soon, and then switch back again to your normal setup afterwards.

If you want to obtain this set, then you can get it from Lair of Maarselok, which is a dungeon in the Scalebreaker DLC.

Hollowfang Thirst set in ESO

Hollowfang Thirst is a light armor set that is normally worn by healers in the Elder Scrolls Online.

Wearing the set gives you extra critical chance and max magicka as passive bonuses. If you have all five pieces, then you will spawn orbs of blood near targets that you critically damage or heal. These orbs will then explode, restoring 1750 magicka to allies that were near the orb, and granting the group Minor Vitality, which increased their healing received.

Due to this special effect, Hollowfang Thirst is extremely commonly used by PvE healers in ESO, especially in trials. If the group is composed of mostly magicka builds, then having a healer wear this set will help everyone to sustain by giving them lots of extra magicka.

You can get the Hollowfang set from Moongrave Fane, a dungeon in the Scalebreaker DLC.

Necropotence set in ESO

Necropotence is a light armor set that quite simply gives you huge amounts of max magicka if you have a summoned pet active. This includes the Sorcerer pets like Summon Volatile Familiar, Warden's Eternal Guardian, and pretty much any other pet, creature or shade that is summoned with an ability or a set.

This set used to be meta for magicka sorcerers, but is nowadays outpowered by sets like Bahsei's Mania and Kinras's Wrath

In spite of this, you can still get decent results using Necropotence if you like the set, and since it's available from base game content it could also serve as a good beginner set.
