The ongoing Heroes of High Isle event in ESO featured a community wide progress bar that players could fill by completing the High Isle Pathfinder achievement. With four days left in the event, that milestone was filled today, meaning that all originally announced rewards, including the Firesong DLC will be available to all players who own the High Isle chapter after the event ends.
While sharing this news, Zenimax have also revealed a bonus objective that players can now work towards.
There is now a second progress bar below the now filled original one. Players can fill this progress bar by closing Volcanic Vents in High Isle and Amenos.
For every 25% that the new bar fills, the Explorer's Celebration mini-event will run for two days immediately after the end of Heroes of High Isle, meaning we can get eight days of this mini-event if we manage to completely fill the bar before Heroes of High Isle ends on October 11th.
What is the Explorer's Celebration in ESO?
The Explorer's Celebration is a mini-event, meaning that it has no quests associated with it, no way to earn Event Tickets and the Impresario and Indrik Vendors will not be available.
However, the Explorer's Celebration could still be a handy event for you if you are looking to level up a new character or do some good old fashioned grinding.
The Explorer's Celebration will feature the following perks for its duration:
- Double drops from resource nodes (not including fishing)
- Double XP gains from all sources (this stacks with other similar effects, such as XP Scrolls)
- Double gold earned from monster loot, quest rewards and similar sources
These bonuses will be active in all zones, not just High Isle related ones.
