Now after we have taken a look at all the cards, players often say what the cards are good for, they don’t look very appealing compared to other Tales of Tribute decks. The Psijic deck in itself isn’t very useful, but it can become powerful if you combine it with other decks.

Preview and move cards around with the Psijic deck

The main usage of the Psijic Loremaster Celarus deck is to shuffle cards around faster. For example cards like Scrying Globe, [Psijic Apprentice] or Psijic's Insight all give you the opportunity to move cards from your draw hand directly to the cooldown pile. This is especially useful when you have other decks like for example the Saint Pelin Patron Deck, which has a lot of cards that have strong Power amount. This way the Psijic Loremaster Celarus deck lets you move the useless cards to the cooldown pile, giving you the opportunity to draw strong cards like The Armory, Rally, Siege Weapon Volley and more faster. Of course this works with lots of other decks, not only Saint Pelin.

Sacrifice Strategy with Psijic Loremaster and Grandmaster Hlaalu

Often players try to avoid any of the Loremaster cards in the tavern because they think they are useless. However, there is a good strategy with the Grandmaster Delmene Hlaalu deck that you can use to your advantage. The Grandmaster Patron does the following: Gain Prestige equal to the card's cost minus 1.Therefore, it is still better to pick crappy cards than none at all. Because you can sacrifice these cards with the Grandmaster Hlaalu. Most players only collect cards, they never destroy them and thus diluting their deck. But you can constantly gain Prestige by sacrificing crappy Loremaster Celarus cards. This is of course only a good strategy if there aren't any other better plays that you can pull off. [The Dreaming Cave] is one of my favorite cards in the deck. It lets me draw one extra card and also lets me look at the next 4 cards in your draw hand and choose to move up to 4 of them to the cooldown pile. And if I don't need it anymore I often sacrifice the card with to gain good prestige points with the Grandmaster Delmene Hlaalu Patron.

Knocking out Agents with the Loremaster Patron

The Psijic  Loremaster Celarus Patron does the following: Pay 4 Coin to knock out one of your opponents active agents. If you have some spare coin or want to avoid that the enemy pulls off combos with Agents, then it might be a good idea to pay 4 Coins to knock the enemy agent out.
