Guide to Guild Daily Quests in ESO

Dark Brotherhood

To participate in Dark Brotherhood Daily Quests, you need to be a member of the Dark Brotherhood, which also requires access to the [Dark Brotherhood] DLC, either by buying it in the Crown Store or by having an active ESO Plus Subscription. For more information about where and how to join the Dark Brotherhood in ESO, check out our guide here which will walk you through the process. There are two different types of daily quests for members of the Dark Brotherhood to complete.

Dark Brotherhood Contract Quests

The first type is a Contract quest, which will direct you to a randomly selected zone to either murder an NPC, or murder several NPCs. To participate in these quests, you must have first completed the first three quests in the Dark Brotherhood storyline - Voices in the Dark, Signed in Blood and Welcome Home. When you have fulfilled these prerequisites, you can obtain the contract quests by speaking to Elam Drals in the Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary in Gold Coast.

Completing Contract quests will reward you with Dark Brotherhood XP, helping you to rank up your Dark Brotherhood skill line, and will also give you a Dark Brotherhood Reward Satchel, which can contain potions, Black Beeswax (the style material for the Dark Brotherhood Style), an item from the Sithis' Touch armor set, or generic armor and weapons.

Dark Brotherhood Sacrament Quests

To participate in the Dark Brotherhood's Sacraments, you must have advanced to rank 2 in the Dark Brotherhood skill line and completed the first four quests related to the Dark Brotherhood - Voices in the Dark, Signed in Blood, Welcome Home, and A Lesson in Silence. You can obtain these quests by speaking to Speaker Terenus in the Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary in Gold Coast.

The Sacrament quests will task you with assassinating a primary target. You can leave it at that, but there are bonus objectives which will lead to a better reward for the quest if you manage to successfully complete all of them. For example:

  • Kill the target in a specific manner, such as using the Blade of Woe or poison
  • Kill a secondary target in addition to the primary one
  • Leave the area before the Overseer arrives
  • Avoid detection during the mission

If you fail to complete the bonus objectives, you will receive 10 Dark Brotherhood XP and a green quality container. If you complete all of the objectives however, you will receive 20 Dark Brotherhood XP and a blue quality container. These containers contain a set piece from the Sithis' Touch armor set, and also have a chance to contain a motif from the Dark Brotherhood style.
