Welcome to the How to get to Alik'r Desert Guide for ESO (Elder Scrolls Online)! You have probably heard already that the "best way to level" is through Dolmens. Whether that is true or not is debatable, but many new players get this recommended as it's definitely an easy way and you don't need to do much, run much around and can use this to either level a specific skill line, or to level up your character.
In order to get to the Alik'r Desert all you need to do is find the nearest harbor and take a ship. This is free of cost.You will want to lookout for a ship that takes you to Wayrest in Stormhaven. This can happen from anywhere. You will usually find a ship by the harbor.
You can either directly find ships that will take you to Wayrest, or find the collective term "Alliance Territories". From there you can talk to the NPC that will take you there.
As soon as you have arrived in Wayrest, you can take the boat to Alik'r Desert.
As soon as you have arrived in Alik'r Desert, you can look out in Zone Chat what people write in order to get invited. Depending on the server and the time of the day, the words to get auto-invited can change.
