It's Elder Scrolls Online 's anniversary, and that means you can enjoy bonus XP, special rewards, and cake during our Anniversary Jubilee event!

The ESO Anniversary Jubilee event is one of the biggest and most popular events in April. This guide covers everything you need to know about earning rewards, farming Gift Boxes and spending your Trade Bars.

Event Dates: April 2 at 10AM EDT to April 15 at 10AM EDT 2026
How to Start: Complete the “For Cake’s Sake” introductory quest from Apprentice Mogh or the Crown Store.
Total Trade Bars: 4,200 Trade Bars total (300 per day × 14 days)
Event Bonus: +100% experience gain from all sources.
Requirements: None
Major / New Rewards: Dapper Daredevil outfit style, Thorn's Bite Withersteed fragments, Nokvroz's Greatsword Replica style, new Jubilee Cake 2026 furnishings.

What Is the ESO Anniversary Jubilee Event?

The Anniversary Jubilee is a global celebration commemorating the original launch of The Elder Scrolls Online. Nearly all gameplay activities reward players with Jubilee Gift Boxes and bonus experience.

Event Loop:

Pick up the free For Cake’s Sake from the Crown Store (Events tab) Start the event and obtain the Jubilee Cake.
Eat the cake once per day to receive 300 Trade Bars.
Complete eligible activities to earn Jubilee Gift Boxes.
Spend Trade Bars at the Impresario, Philius Dormier (Event Merchant's Assistant) or the Gold Coast Bazaar for collectibles and cosmetics
Take advantage of the +100% Experience bonus for leveling characters, Champion Points and skill lines

How to Start Anniversary Jubilee

Step-by-Step Start Guide

Navigate to the Crown Store and purchase the free quest "For Cake’s Sake".
Locate Apprentice Mogh at the docks in Davon's Watch, Vulkhel Guard or Daggerfall.
Gather "Chef Donolon's Special Flour Blend" and "Mogh's Essential Sugar Mix" nearby.
Fling two pies as directed and return to Mogh.
Receive the Jubilee Cake 2026 tool in your Collections menu under Tools.

How to Earn Jubilee Gift Boxes

You can earn Anniversary Jubilee Gift Boxes from a wide range of activities during ESO's anniversary event.

The first Gift Box earned each day is a gold Glorious Anniversary Jubilee Gift Box with better rewards. All additional boxes earned that day are purple Anniversary Jubilee Gift Boxes.

Complete any Daily Quest (crafting writs, zone dailies, guild dailies)
Kill and loot final Dungeon, Arena or Trial boss
Kill and loot Delve & World Bosses
Complete incursion events (Dolmens, Abyssal Geysers, Dragons, Harrowstorms, Oblivion Portals, Volcanic Vents, Mirrormoor Incursions and Siege Camps)
Defeat Tho'at in Infinite Archive
Open Rewards for the Worthy coffers (PvP)
Open Tales of Tribute Reward Coffers (a higher chance to receive one based on the challenge of the opponent or the number of opponents faced during a daily)

You must open Rewards for the Worthy and Tales of Tribute mail parcels before the event ends to receive the Gift Box inside.

How to Earn Trade Bars

Use the Jubilee Cake 2026 tool once per day and interact with the cake that appears to receive 300 Trade Bars.

Max Trade Bars for this event: 4,200 (300 per day x 14 days)

Focus on activities you enjoy or use some of these methods to maximize the amount of gift boxes you can earn:

Daily Crafting Writs: Each completed writ counts as a daily quest and awards a Jubilee Gift Box. Daily crafting writs guide
Overland Daily Quests: Any daily quest with a blue repeatable arrow is eligible. Check Zone Dailies List and Guild Dailies list
Incursion Events: Dolmens, Abyssal Geysers, Dragons, Harrowstorms, Oblivion Portals, Volcanic Vents, Mirrormoor Incursions and Siege Camps all award Gift Boxes.

Anniversary Jubilee Gift Boxes in ESO contain outfit style pages, motif chapters, furnishing recipes, transmute crystals and crafting materials. The gold-quality Glorious box has the rarest drops including the new 2026 Dapper Daredevil style and mount fragments.

Thorn's Bite Withersteed Mount Fragments

The second fragment for the Thorn's Bite Withersteed mount (Gilded Stirrups) has a very low chance to drop from Glorious Gift Boxes. The first fragment (Blooming Saddle) is available from the Impresario for 1,000 Trade Bars.

If you already own Gilded Stirrups, the Glorious box guarantees a Dapper Daredevil style page instead.

Nokvroz's Greatsword Replica

This weapon style has a very rare chance to drop from Oblivion Portal reward chests in the Deadlands. Your drop chance improves with the Deadlands Portal Devastator achievement and becomes higher with Hero of Fargrave.

You know you're in the right portal when you loot one these overland sets: Eye of the Grasp, Hexos' Ward or Kynmarcher's Cruelty.

Impresario Wares

IMPORTANT! "Morphing" is now "Combining." When you combine fragments to create a collectible (like a mount), the base item/pet is no longer consumed. You get to keep both!
