The ESO Whitestrake's Mayhem Event is now Active

Whitestrake's Mayhem is an in-game event in the Elder Scrolls Online that is centered around PvP activities in Cyrodiil, Imperial City and Battlegrounds

During the event you will be able to earn special rewards by participating in PvP and PvP related daily quests. It's just started, so you can get stuck in whenever you want!

View the full event guide on the Whitestrake's Mayhem Event Guide page.

What you Need to Know about Whitestrake's Mayhem

You will be able to earn three Event Tickets per day to spend at the Impresario vendor on special rewards only available during the event. However, unlike many of the events in ESO, not all of the Event Tickets are from the same activity.

Two of the Event Tickets will come from the first repeatable Cyrodiil or Battlegrounds quest that you complete each day. These can include the Bounty Board quests, Town Dailies, Conquest Board quests or the daily Battleground quest.

The third Event Ticket can be obtained by completing a District daily quest in Imperial City

In addition to the Event Tickets, you will earn special reward boxes alongside the usual PvP rewards that you get in the mail. If you are new to PvP, then these are earned simply by earning Alliance Points in any way - generally by defeating players, capturing and defending objectives or repairing walls in Cyrodiil. These boxes may contain a multitude of rewards, such as style motifs, alchemy ingredients, Transmute Geodes, powerful Coldfire Siege Weapons, Tel Var stones, and more. You can also obtain these boxes by completing PvP daily quests.

You can find all of the information about the event, including all available rewards from Reward Boxes and the Impresario by checking our Whitestrake's Mayhem Event Page. The event will continue until 10AM EDT on August 9th.

I'm New to PvP and I'm Struggling, What should I Do?

If you are not an experienced player, then you will most likely have an easier time playing with a group. In Battlegrounds you are automatically placed in a group, so you don't have to worry about this. In Cyrodiil and Imperial City you can usually find a group by writing "LFG" in the zone chat. If you're unable to find a group in this manner, then check the map and see if any of your Alliance's keeps are under attack, or if any nearby enemy keeps are under attack. If you go to those locations, then there is a good chance of finding friendly players.

Having a proper PvP build also helps a lot. PvE builds simply will not cut it in PvP, even if you have very good damage in PvE situations you will be a complete glass cannon in PvP. We have a selection of PvP builds available for all classes here. You can also find PvP builds made by members of the community here. In general, doing some homework before jumping into PvP will improve your experience.
