The Pilgrim's Path Achievement Guide ESO

 header

Welcome to the Pilgrim's Path Achievement guide for ESO. Here you can find all the information you need in order to get this achievement and find the locations successfully. If you have any questions you can always join our Discord Server and find help in the community!

The Pilgrim's Path is an achievement and a reward for finding each of the seven shrines in Vvardenfell and reading their inscriptions. These are found all over the island, most are found in Vivec City itself though. They don't stand out from the surrounding area very much, so it can be hard to spot them, especially since at least one is in a tricky location to get to. They are generally small, engraved stone pedestals with candles and additions to them, like a soul stone. Finding and reading them will give 5 achievement points each. When you have read all seven you will receive the achievement "Pilgrim's Path".

1)Shrine of Humility

Lake Amaya, on the north shore by the road

"Once, Lord Vivec met a farmer whose guar had died, making her unable to feed her family or village. So Vivec removed his finery and toiled in the fields until the crop was harvested. Thus we pray for the same humility Lord Vivec showed that day."

2) Shrine of Daring

Vivec City, southwest corner of the Temple Canton

"When Sheogorath tricked Baar Dau to hurl itself upon Lord Vivec's city, the Poet-Warrior froze the rogue moon with a single gesture. Overwhelmed by his courage and daring, the moon swore itself to eternal service of the Tribunal and all its works."

3) Shrine of Generosity

Vivec City, northeast corner of the Temple Canton

"Long after our triumph over the Dwarves, the people wished to build a monument to the heroes of that war. Vivec thanked them, but said that it would be better to dedicate a monument to all people, great and small, who suffered and died in the war."

4) Shrine of Courtesy

Vivec City, on second level under the stairs to Vivec's Palace (you have to jump down)

"In a battle with Mehrunes Dagon, Vivec gave his own silver longsword to the Daedra Lord rather than dishonor himself by fighting an unarmed foe. This so impressed the Dremora that they now share a bond of respect with the followers of the Tribunal."

5) Shrine of Justice

Gnisis, upstairs at the Gnisis Temple

"Once Vivec awoke to find himself and his followers trapped in hardened ash. Saddened by their suffering, his tears weakened the ash, freeing him to save his people. This is Vivec's heroism - his tender heart provides strength when his might fails."

6) Shrine of Valor

Gnisis, on the shore just southeast of the Wayshrine underneath the rocks by the arch

"Lord Vivec once fought a battle with Ruddy Man, the father of the Dreugh. When he defeated Ruddy Man, Vivec spared his life, on the condition that Ruddy Man and his children would give up their tough hides to serve as armor for the Dunmer."

7) Shrine of Pride

Mount Kand, near the top, southeast of the Erabenimsun Camp

"Have trust in the Tribunal, for they protect us from our foes. Have love for the Tribunal, for they bring us help in time of need. Give respect to the Tribunal, for their indomitable will and power is the pride of all Dunmer."
