An Ayleid ruin west of Cyrodiil, the underground halls of Wendir were believed to have served as a refuge for the fleeing Ayleids following the Alessian Slave Rebellion. The name derives from the Ayleidoon word for "journey" though the exact reason this name was selected has remained a mystery.
