What is the "Zenithar's Blessing" Buff in ESO?

In the current Zeal of Zenithar event, some players will have noticed a buff in the Active Effects section of their Character menu, called Zenithar's Blessing. To begin with, nobody was too sure what this buff was for, but this has now been discovered and will be explained in this article. Beware that there are some minor spoilers here related to the special world encounters that are active during the event, so if you'd rather be surprised by these events in-game then it's probably best that you don't read on. 
What is Zenithar's Blessing in ESO?
The Zenithar's Blessing buff is picked up when you encounter a Priest of Zenithar at the roadside during your travels in ESO. Upon speaking to him, he will have a couple of questions for you, and if you answer them correctly you will recieve the Zenithar's Blessing buff. The buff lasts for 12 hours.The purpose of the buff is basically to unlock two subsequent encounters.
The first of these two encounters will happen when you notice a shining light emanating from the ground. This is actually the Zenithar's Blessing buff highlighting a dirt mound. Upon digging up the dirt mound, you will receive a golden treasure box. This box can be sold at a merchant for 50 gold, as far as we are aware it does not have any other purpose.
The second event is similar, again you will be led to a dirt mound that is highlighted by the Zenithar's Blessing buff, however this time there will be a Minotaur there trying to dig at the mound. You can slay the minotaur and dig up the mound yourself, which will again give you a golden treasure box.
