The Update 40 and thus the Infinite Archive has been around for just over a month now and is very popular in the ESO community. Zenimax Online Studios have released the statistical evaluation of the first month. All players together spent a whopping 1,535,197 hours in the archive.
In the Infinite Archive, you fight different mob groups and random bosses in a arc consisting of several cycles. After completing a arc, you will start all over again, only with increased difficulty. In addition, a random boss, a marauder, can appear among the mob groups, which you must also fight.
Haven’t you tried the archive yet? On ESO-Hub, you can find a beginner’s guide and an overview of what loot you can get there.
The deadliest of the marauders and the one that caused you the most problems was Gothmau. Regardless of the Tho'at Replicanum, the end boss of each loop, Zhaj'assa The Forgotten (Maw of Lorkhaj), The Serpent (Sanctum Ophidia), and Laatvulon (end boss of main quest in Southern Elsweyr) were the toughest bosses at the end of a cycle.
The most chosen verses after completing a stage were Flame Aura, Exsanguinate, and Fire Orb. The top 3 visions that you can choose after a cycle were Focused Efforts, Piercing Perfection, and Scorching Support. An overview of the different types of verses and visions can be found on AlcastHQ.
Of course, you can also tackle the Infinite Archive alone. In the first month, 15 arcs in a row were completed solo with a Warden. However, two players managed to successfully complete an impressive 34 arcs together. They did this with a combination of Dragonknight and Warden.
With the Infinite Archive, ZOS has expanded the game with an exciting and popular mode. We are excited to see how the records will develop in the coming months.
