ESO finally also launched on the EPIC GAMES store. You can claim the base game for free until the 27th of July. Additionally, you can also get some free Arcanist rewards at the same time in-game.

EPIC GAMES store and Elder Scrolls Online
ESO can be claimed for free on the games page here. The promotion started on the 20th of July and runs until the 27th of July.
Once you have claimed the game you can keep it forever. However, if you want to play any DLCs or the new Necrom Chapter you will have to pay for it. Instead of paying for the DLCs you could also use the monthly subscription of ESO to get access to ALL the DLCs. The base game will already keep you busy for a long time though.
It is recommended to playtest the base game first before you decide to buy any more content in the game.
When you claim ESO on the EPIC GAMES store you will also get the "Sigil of the Alliance War Back Bling" for free in Fortnite.
Additionally, when you purchase any version of ESO: Necrom from the Epic Games Store, you will receive the Ebonheart Battleaxe Pickaxe and the Ebonheart Battleaxe Back Bling Fortnite items.
Free Arcanist Rewards - Ascent of the Arcanist
At the same time ESO has another promotion running. The "Ascent of the Arcanist". You will have to purchase the ESO: Necrom Chapter to get the free items. Because you have to level up an Arcanist character to level 10 to get the free items.
The promotion runs until July 28. You can claim the free rewards in the Crown Store once you hit level 10 with an Arcanist class character.
You will get the following items:

- Scrawl of the Arcanist Tattoos body markings
- Devoted Torchbug pet
