Hero Of the Unending Song - Vateshran Hollows
Lets take a look at all the veteran achievements and what you have to do.
Vateshran Hollows Conqueror
"Defeat all the challeengers in Veteran Vateshran Hollows."

How To: Nothing special with this achievement, all you have to do is clear the Vateshran Hollows arena on veteran difficulty to unlock this achievement.
Crushing Disappointment
"Defeat Zakuryn the Culptor and Flesh Abomination after destroying 5 or more Banekin with a single blow from the Flesh Abomination's Pulverize three times in Veteran Vateshran Hollow.
"How To: The Flesh Abomination does a huge heavy attack from time to time that oneshots you when you stand in it. You have to make sure that 5 Banekins are alive and when the Flesh Abomination does the heavy attack, you have to make sure that all of them are in it. You can dodge roll in the last second of the heavy attack, that way you make sure that all Banekins get hit and you won't die.
You have to repeat this 3 times, and the achievement will only pop up after you killed the boss.
A Blinding Flash
Destroy 5 Watchers within a single Wounding Portal during the Iozzunth battle in Veteran Vateshran Hollows.
"How To: After a while during the boss fight a portal will spawn, don't immediately go up because there won't be enough watches otherwise. Wait a bit, then teleport up and kill 5 of the Watches as fast as possible to unlock the achievement.
Give That Back
"Retrieve a stolen "Blessing of the Grove" buff from a Blessed Spriggan 20 times in Veteran Vateshran Hollows.
"How To: Don't do any damage to the Lurcher, just keep your healing and damage mitigation active. Wait for the Spriggan on the edge of the arena to drain you, don't interrupt the Spriggan. Once drained (indicated by your screen going a bit darker) kill the Spriggan to retrieve the essence. You have to kill the Spriggan that drained you to regain the essence for it to count towards that achievement. Repeat this 20 times, this will take a while.
You Missed!
"Avoid Rahdgarak's blockable Clobber attack by grappling away from it in Veteran Vateshran Hollows." You have to do this 20 times.
How To: Keep the boss on the first platform and every time Rahdgarak does a heavy attack, you grapple away to the second platform. Go back to the first platform, rinse and repeat that 20 times.
Dormant Defeat
"Defeat the Magma Queen while never sealing a dormant volcano in Veteran Vateshran Hollows.
"How To: Just focus on killing the boss, don't ever activate the Synergy from the dead Atronach and don't throw it on the active volcano. Just focus on killing the boss, you will take extra damage because the volcano stays active, but this is part of the challenge. (currently bugged
Fire in the Belly
"Absorb 20 pyres ignited by the Pyrelord in Veteran Vateshran Hollows.
"How To: Keep the Pyrelord busy, don't do damage to him. Keep your healing and damage mitigation abilities active. Every time the boss smashes his sword into the ground, the whole arena will get ignited. Go to the lava orb which is located in one of the corners, heavy attack it and run to the corner where you see a fire appear. Only one of the three corners will have fire, walk into it while the lava orb protection is still active, that way you absorb the fire. Rinse and repeat this 20 times and you will get the achievement.
Missed Me By That Much
"Defeat Maebroogha the Void Lich after only destroying Void Trap Shades while they are being detonated.
"How To: This is the most difficult achievement out of all. You are only allowed to kill Shades when they are in the middle, shortly before exploding. However, you can skip this phase by burning the boss down. When the shades appear you can keep focusing the boss, when the boss reaches 10%, the shades will automatically disappear and the grapple hook mechanic will start, that is actually a valid option.
Don't panic when the Shades are in the middle and you are all caged up. You still have around 3 seconds before the Shades explode. A lot of players panic and dodge roll and then die, but you still have time!Note: You can also use skills such as Sorcerer Streak, Nightblade Ambush and Shadow Image to teleport out of the middle without killing any of the shades.
Unbroken Vigor
"Complete Veteran Vateshran Hollows in a single attempt without dying or leaving the arena.
"How To: This is the no death run, you have to do the while arena without dieing in one go. You are allows to collect the Essences & Remnants as well as Sigils!
Hollows Hustler
"Complete Veteran Vateshran Hollows within 45 minutes. The timer starts when entering any wing for the first time"How To: You need to clear the arena within 45 minutes. You are allowed to skip monsters and you are also allowed to collect Essences & Remnants as well as Sigils!
Strength from Within
"Complete Veteran Vateshran Hollows without using Sigils during combat"How To: Never use any of the Sigils that are present in each boss fight. Be careful to not accidentally activate one of the Sigils when you are close to it.
