Maleficent, guardian of the Moors, learned that losing someone's trust and having it stolen are two different things, the day the man she believed in tore off her wings for a crown. 
The curse placed on a newborn was only an echo of that betrayal, a way of making visible the debt her kingdom refused to acknowledge.


Tamriel holds a similar story: Ithelia, the Daedric Prince of hidden paths, betrayed and erased by her own peers. Between the two, Maleficent finds something close to a sister in misfortune, both silenced by those who feared their power. 

Raven on her shoulder, she now moves through the realms to remind every traitor of a simple truth: being forgotten is never quite as final as people hope.
