The chronicle began in the depths of Blackreach, where a coven of Reach witches awoke the Dark Heart. 
The cosmic shockwave of their ritual pierced the Crossroads, fracturing the Eluvian through which Morrigan was fleeing Flemeth's shadow.

Ripped from her reality, the Witch of the Wilds was cast out onto the cold stone of Tamriel.Instead of searching for a way back, she embraced this strange new world. 
She traveled to the surface, studying the fluid energies of the Mundus and the primitive hedge-magic of the local covens. 

Draped in feathers and dark velvet, she quickly realized that the chaotic Three-Banner War was the perfect cover to move unseen.

Today, she roams the darkest corners of the continent. 
Tracking the residual footprints of the Daedra and the ancient power sleeping within the soil, she does not seek to save this broken realm. 
She only wishes to strip Tamriel of its deepest, oldest secrets.
