Global passive bonuses during the Experience Boost Mini-Event in ESO

This Experience Boost Mini-Event is a free base game event active on all zones.

  • 100% Experience Boost passively. The Experience Buff stacks with Experience Scrolls and Ambrosias. Tips for additional XP boosts at the end of the guide.

How to Participate in the Experience Boost Mini-Event

You can play in your normal style and just enjoy the Extra Experience or use more experience boosters and farm XP for your character. We recommend at least completing a daily normal dungeon once a day as it is a great source for XP!

Top 3 Fastest XP Methods

For players looking for the highest XP-per-hour, focus on these activities during your boost period:

  1. Daily Random Dungeon: Massive one-time daily bonus.
  2. Power Leveling Grinding: Consistent high XP from kills using efficient routes.
  3. Master Writs: High reward for quick completion, especially for low-level crafting skill lines.

Good Sources of Experience

Experience can be obtained from many sources. Prioritize the activities below for the highest gains:

  1. Normal Daily Random Dungeon (Found on the Dungeon Finder)
  2. Normal Daily Random Battleground (Found on the Group Finder)
  3. Grinding specific spots (Power Leveling Grind Guide for Blackrose Prison, Aliki'r Dolmens etc.)
  4. Completing Daily Crafting Writs (Daily Crafting Writ Guide)
  5. Completing Master Writs (Master Writ Guide)

What Experience Affects (Levels and Skill Lines)

All experience gained benefits the following aspects of your character:

  1. Character levels for your main character or alts (alternative characters)
  2. Any Skill Lines that can be leveled with XP
  3. Champion Points
  4. Companions (They gain XP only from kills when active. This kill XP is also boosted by your character's overall XP buffs.)

Tip for Werewolf/Vampire: Remember that you can slot skills from these skill lines "normally" even when you're not using the ultimates. These primarily gain experience only from kills so having them on your bar at all times, make them level up quicker.

Do I get tickets from the Experience Boost Mini-Event?

No, the Experience Boost mini-event does not include tickets, the Impresario or anything else normally considered to be included in a full fledged event.
